The Skinny: Hailing from London, England, Kill For Eden is a five-piece hard rock band that tries to build on the foundations laid by classic acts such as Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, but also from the solid riffs of the Cult, the instant melodies from Blondie, and the contemporary mix of pop hooks and rebel attitude of bands such as Garbage. Forming in 2009, the group was conceived by guitarist Dave Garfield and vocalist Lyla D'Souza who is a rock/soul singer-songwriter who has performed in the UK, Europe and Australia. Garfield has been active as a musician in both Amsterdam and Cologne and has supported artists such as Joe Cocker, Rammstein and Die Arzte on tour.
After many gigs around England, Kill For Eden released their debut self-titled album last May. They followed this release up with an EP later in the year in November. The EP was extremely well received, featuring the title track "Living On Mars" and two previously unreleased songs, "The Dome" and "Shoot Me."
