Shortly after shocking the black metal underground by announcing the return of enigmatic front man Gaahl, God Seed have not only revealed plans for a new album, but also have unveiled a new line-up. Founding members Gaahl and King ov Hell will now be joined with: Sir (Trelldom, Djerv) on guitar, Kenneth Kapstad (Motorpschyco) on drums, Geir Bratland (Dimmu Borgir) on keys & noise and Lust Kilman (The Batallion, Grimfist) on guitar.
Formed in 1985 by Jon Spencer and Julie Cafritz in Washington DC, Pussy Galore drew upon the bloated hardcore scene, totally rejecting the same while embracing 60's garage punk and R'n'B, industrial noise acts like Einsturzende Neubauten, and plenty of bad vibes and badder attitude. After a relocation to New York City in '86, the band quickly rose to prominence and infamy. Sold-out concerts and record releases were celebrated and debated in the pages of the Village Voice, Vanity Fair, and Art Forum. Pussy Galore toured across North America and throughout Europe, even making it to Japan before the band finally imploded.

Due to an injury to one of the band members Virginia doom rockers King Giant have been unable to tour in support of their praised sophomore LP 'Dismal Hollow' this year. While regretfully the band cannot take the new album's anthems to the highways of America at the present time, in lieu of touring, King Giant has opted to begin constructing new material for their upcoming third full-length release.

After spending many months in the studio, melodic death metallers The Agonist have finally finished their long-awaited third studio album, 'Prisoners'. Produced by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) and mixed by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Dark Tranquility, Suicide Silence), 'Prisoners' is set to be released via Century Media Records on June 4th in Europe and June 5th in North America, and it picks right up where 2009's 'Lullabies for the Dormant Mind' left off, with soaring melodies over complex metal passages that fans of thinking-man's metal can appreciate.

Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, political activist and System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian is in his Serjical Strike Studios in LA putting the finishing touches on his third solo studio album, 'Harakiri', the follow-up to 2010's 'Imperfect Harmonies', which will be released this summer on Serjical Strike/Reprise Records. Much of the new record was written in 2011, which was an incredibly busy year for the diversely talented musician and what Serj describes as "the busiest, most productive year of my life so far." In February, the rock musical Prometheus Bound, which he composed all of the music for, opened at the Oberon Theater at Harvard in Boston to rave reviews. 2011 also saw Serj release his second poetry book, 'Glaring Through Oblivion'.

After returning from the "Covan Wake The Fuck Up Tour 2012" in January, Thy Disease have begun work on the follow up to 'Anshur Za'. Yanuary comments: "We’ve begun work on our sixth album in our rehearsal room in Krakow. The writing is going very well, all band members are involved and we are very happy with the results so far. We plan to keep everyone updated with progress with a few video reports from rehearsals and in the studio. You will be able to watch them via our YouTube channel. The only break we will take from writing and recording will be the Woodstock elimination concert, taking place on April 15th in Zabrze in CK Wiatrak club. The show is free, we hope that all our fans can come along and show their support".
