The well-oiled modern metal machine that is Modesto, CA's Better Left Unsaid is in motion and preparing to record and release a new, self-titled album. BLU are entering Sharkbite Studios (Machine Head, Roadrunner United, Exodus) this Spring with engineer and producer Ryan Massey at the dials. The band's highly-anticipated third album is set for release on July 31st, 2012 and will be followed by extensive touring.
Knoxville's 10 Years will release 'Minus The Machine' on July 17th via their own Palehorse Records in conjunction with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. The album marks the band's first release on their new label, after a long tenure at Universal.

After spending many months in the studio, melodic death metallers The Agonist have finally finished their long-awaited third studio album, 'Prisoners'. Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet, political activist and System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian is in his Serjical Strike Studios in LA putting the finishing touches on his third solo studio album, 'Harakiri', the follow-up to 2010's 'Imperfect Harmonies', which will be released this summer on Serjical Strike/Reprise Records. Much of the new record was written in 2011, which was an incredibly busy year for the diversely talented musician and what Serj describes as "the busiest, most productive year of my life so far." In February, the rock musical Prometheus Bound, which he composed all of the music for, opened at the Oberon Theater at Harvard in Boston to rave reviews. 2011 also saw Serj release his second poetry book, 'Glaring Through Oblivion'.

Yanuary comments: "We’ve begun work on our sixth album in our rehearsal room in Krakow. The writing is going very well, all band members are involved and we are very happy with the results so far. We plan to keep everyone updated with progress with a few video reports from rehearsals and in the studio. You will be able to watch them via our YouTube channel. The only break we will take from writing and recording will be the Woodstock elimination concert, taking place on April 15th in Zabrze in CK Wiatrak club.
