Grammy® nominated San Diego metal act, As I Lay Dying, are proud to announce that Bill Stevenson has been enlisted to produce their next album this May. Bill Stevenson has played drums for both the Descendents and Black Flag and is one of the most highly renowned producers in rock. His production credits include work on records by Rise Against, NOFX, Propagandhi, The Casualties, Anti-Flag and many more. As I Lay Dying is recording this spring, with album release expected in the second half of 2012. As always, the band members are very active on twitter and bassist and vocalist Josh Gilbert has been posting images from the studio to chronicle the writing process. South Florida's Abiotic will be entering the studio on April 23rd following the "Shredded To Pieces Tour", which kicked off yesterday in Orlando, FL. They will be recording at Sonica Assault Studios with producer Charles J and engineer Phil Pluskota. Art will done Daniel McBride. Abiotic stormed onto the underground metal scene with the release of their 'A Universal Plague' EP in September of 2011. Since then, through word-of-mouth on-line and steady gigging in the South East, Abiotic has become one of the top bands to watch.

Vancouver’s own Hey Ocean! are set to release their debut LP 'IS' on May 15 through Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading music company. 'IS' includes the band’s catchy first single "Big Blue Wave", as well as the album tracks "Make a New Dance Up" which was recently featured on an episode of drama series 'Army Wives' and "Islands" which was featured on 'One Tree Hill'.
Public Image LTD can confirm that their first new album in 20 years- 'This Is PiL', to be released May 28th-will contain 12 tracks (see the track listing below). The album is self-funded by PiL and will be released on PiL's own label PiL Official via Cargo UK Distribution. All the new material was recorded in the UK last year at Steve Winwood's studio in the Cotswolds.

Welcome to the world of Crystal Viper: a world full of Flying Vs, tube amps, leather and chains. Cafeteria Dance Fever are a catchy and bombastic garage rock band from Portland, OR. Fearlessly mashing up musical genres, their joyful explosions are equal part 1970s Swell Maps (meteoric U.K. iconoclasts) and 1960s Sonics (original Seattle garage punk). Through several LPs and 7"s released on Portland's Hovercraft label, the band has developed a unique blend of retro garage and post-modern noise pop.
