After much anticipation, Los Angeles' Thrown Into Exile are finally giving the metal world a taste of what their hometown fans already know. "Not Alone", the first taste of new music from Thrown Into Exile, will be streaming on the band’s Facebook page
starting Tuesday, November 20th.
Post Season is a new, up-and-coming pop punk band from Altoona Pennsylvania! The group have just released their first single called "To Infinite And Beyond" via their Bandcamp page. Additionally, the song will be on iTunes in a few short weeks. Post Season has ex-members of both bands Handguns and Nothing To Prove. The band will be using all of the profits from people downloading this single to release their first EP.
The new track is taken from the band's highly-anticipated new album, 'The Aftermath', which is due to be released on July 2nd in Europe and July 3rd in North America. Bonded By Blood frontman Mauro Gonzalez comments: "We chose 'Restless Mind' as the first single because it showcases a few different elements of the new album. The lyrics are basically about the troubles we go through in modern society, such as insomnia due to stress of high expectations." A one-man cover for the Fear Factory song "Flashpoint" has been posted on YouTube, recorded by deathrash/groove outfit Common Dead. The track is a discarded "raw mix" from closing sessions of the album 'Diatribe', and originally hails from the 1995 Fear Factory album 'Demanufacture.' All instrumentation and mixing for the cover was the solo effort of Common Dead's founder, Andrew Laurenson, including the recreation of sound bytes meant to mirror samples in the original.
German progressive rock/metal up-comers Pigeon Toe have revealed another track from their Lifeforce Records debut 'The First Perception', entitled "The Chase" - stream the song below. 'The First Perception' is set to be released on April 24th in North America and a week later in Europe.
