Bandwdth Publishing, in conjunction with the George Harrison Estate, announces the release of a special iPad app celebrating the guitarist and his historical guitar collection. 'The Guitar Collection: George Harrison' iPad app is available through iTunes today, two days before Harrison's birth date.

Guitarist/vocalist Helmuth Lehner, of extreme metal commando Belphegor, has revealed that the group is working on fresh material for their tenth full-length album. The as of yet untitled record is tentatively slated for a late 2012 release, and will be the follow up to January 2011's 'Blood Magick Necreomance'. From this coming Saturday until next Wednesday, Belphegor will start the first rehearsal session for the album, in Abtenau, Austria. The drum duties will again be handled by Mr. Marthyn, who did an outstanding job on 'Blood Magick Necreomance.'

Photos from the Municipal Waste and Grill 'Em All Truck Meet & Eat event - which took place last Friday - are now available on Facebook. The Grill 'Em All Truck has two burgers named in honor of the band the "Waste 'Em All" and the "Witte." All those present were treated to an old-school listening party featuring a Scion xB car stereo and the title track off the new Municipal Waste album 'The Fatal Feast', which is due out in North America on April 10th.

Behemoth is twelve shows into their European tour now alongside with Cannibal Corpse, Legion Of The Damned, Misery Index, Suicide Silence and Nexus Inferi. Nergal has just sent us his thoughts on shows Behemoth have played so far: "We are in the middle of this tour and on behalf of the band I must state that's probably the best European run we've done ever! And it's not just courtesy but a fact. Never seen European venues so crowded and enthusiastically reacting to our show. I know, we've been away for a while, the band's future was a big question mark and if you ask me, I have to say I was seriously worried If I can pull it off at all."

The Civil Wars are #10 on the Billboard 200 chart, #1 on the Billboard Independent chart and #16 on the Canadian Soundscan chart. The massive sales increase in North America comes a year after the band's debut album, 'Barton Hollow', which is available through Dine Alone Records in Canada, was originally released and a week after the duo won Best Folk Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance at 54th annual Grammy Awards. In addition to winning two awards, the duo performed 60 seconds of the album's title track on the live broadcast.

The Cult will make its 2012 concert debut when the band plays the "South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival" next month, headlining the Auditorium Shores Stage on Saturday, March 17th. The Auditorium Shores Stage show will be free and open to the public, and The Cult will take the stage at 8:00PM. Both Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy will be available for select Canadian media while in Austin.
