The Black Dahlia Murder have been confirmed for Metallica's first-ever music festival. The fest is scheduled for June 23rd and June 24th at Baddon Field in Atlantic City, NJ. The Black Dahlia Murder will be performing on the Damage Inc. stage, which features some of the heavier acts billed for the festival, including: Sepultura, Suicidal Tendencies, Landmine Marathon, Torche, Thy Will Be Done, and more. The Black Dahlia Murder is scheduled to perform at 5:15pm on Sunday, the 24th, right before stage headliners, Sepultura.
Melvins Lite, the additional incarnation of the Melvins which features Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Fantômas) have announced their first round of tour dates, a tour dubbed "Melvins Lite Canada +." The Melvins, in their current four-piece line-up, appear on Last Call with Carson Daly this Wednesday, April 25th.
