So-Cal alternative rockers The Dirty Heads have announced the initial run for their co-headlining summer tour with Matisyahu. The band will be spreading their signature rock/reggae/hip-hop sound that that is synonymous with its good vibes on this 40 plus city US jaunt beginning in Washington, DC on July 8th. Tickets go on sale beginning May 11th. The band’s long-awaited new album, 'Cabin By The Sea' will be globally released on Five Seven Music on June 19th and can be described as the "ultimate summer soundtrack." The album features collaborations with fellow tour mate Matisyahu as well as Del the Funky Homosapien, KyMani Marley and Rome.

Goes Cube has just announces a string of tour dates with Exotic Animal Petting Zoo. Goes Cube is an American rock band formed in 2003 in Brooklyn, N.Y., by guitarist and vocalist David Obuchowski. The drummer, Kenny Appell, joined the band in 2005, and Matt Tyson, bassist, joined in 2009. The group has released several EPs and two full-length albums, 'In Tides and Drifts' and 'Another Day Has Passed.'

Filthy black metallers Mutilation Rites will be blasting the speakers, and most likely some ear drums, during their record release show at Saint Vitus Bar in their hometown Brooklyn, NY on June 6. The performance, which will be presented by Signature Riff, will see the band playing alongside Horna and Kommandant in support of their new release 'Empyrean,' which is available now for PRE-ORDER
in advance of its May 22 release date.
France's experimental metallers Hypno5e were forced to cancel their Australian tour due to a health problem involving one of the band's members. The tour was planned to support the recent release of their second album 'Acid Mist Tomorrow' issued by Klonosphere/Season of Mist and licensed to Truth Inc. Records for Australia. The band extends their sincerest apologies to all the fans and friends hoping to attend this tour and promises to reschedule these shows for a later date.
Eternal Summers has just announced a small US tour. Their new album 'Correct Behavior' is due out only July 24th via Kanine Records. As you would expect with the addition of a new member, sonically Correct Behavior is fuller than their debut 'Silver' and earlier EPs. Until now, Eternal Summers was writing jangly post-punk stompers (Pogo, Able To) and languid dream pop ballads (Safe at Home, Lightswitch); hitting opposite ends of the spectrum was evoking confusion for some. And while 'Correct Behavior' still reaches the upbeats ("I Love You") and the slowbeats ("Good as You"), album opener ("Millions") blends the disparate aspects of their back catalog into a coherent sound that is uniquely theirs. It is bright, fresh and bridges any gaps that might arise from what they once lovingly called dream-punk.
Norwegian Black Metal band 1349 have announced that in addition to their upcoming dates on the "Serpent Sermon" tour alongside blackened doom labelmates Withered and Swedish black metallers Marduk, they will be performing a one-off headlining show on June 18th at the Glasshouse in Pomona, CA, where they will be supported by The Funeral Pyre.

Tribune has added more Canadian dates to their "Dark Arts Tour" in promotion of their new album 'Elder Lore/The Dark Arts' released March 20, 2012 via Corpse Corrosion Music. The band wil be playing a second date in Montreal on May 11th along with their already scheduled May 12th date in the Canadian metal capital and have added a show in Sault Ste Marie on May 13th and Red Deer on May 17th.
Diamond Plate have announced that bassist and lead vocalist Jon Macak will be departing from the band's tour with Overkill and God Forbid to return home due to a recent family emergency. The band have decided to continue on with the remainder of their trek with tour manager and close friend Dan Valente filling in on bass and vocal duties.
The Gates of Slumber have added tour dates with Hail!Hornet following their US tour with Church of Misery. The full tour will begin on May 24th in Providence, RI and includes a June 1st performance at Chaos in Tejas. Portland Oregon's Red Fang are in the midst of wrapping up their European tour with a show tonight in Moscow, Russia and their final gig tomorrow in St. Petersburg, Russia. Before they had back state-side the band is pleased to announce that they have just confirmed a new batch of North American tour dates. Rise Records’ Like Moths To Flames are following up their stint as main support on the Texas in July Tour with a string of Canadian dates with Nice Nine Kills. The Columbus, OH rockers will also be part of this summer’s "Scream It Like You Mean It Tour" and will make an appearance at Bamboozle later this month. Like Moths To Flames released the following the statement to their Canadian fans: "We're extremely excited to head into Canada for the first time and play for our fans up there. Everyone’s favorite space-age mutant skate punks head to Europe next week for their first tour there in six years. The band has also been confirmed for two dates at the upcoming Sled Island Festival in June (21st and 22nd), as well as being added to the stellar lineup at Hopscotch Festival in September (8th).
