Coheed And Cambria, who are in the studio working on their sixth studio album, have announced they will be touring this summer with Iron Maiden in the US and Canada as part of the "Maiden England World Tour." The tour will closely mirror, in terms of production and content, Maiden's original 1988 concert video of the same name, shot on the "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son Tour." Coheed begins their stint on the "Maiden England World Tour" July 24th in Winnipeg and ends August 18th in Houston, with stops in Seattle, Denver, Dallas and Los Angeles along the way. Tickets go on sale March 2nd and 3rd.
Following the massively successful "Final Frontier World Tour 2010-11", Iron Maiden are back on the road this summer with a series of Arena, Amphitheatre and Festival shows in Canada and the U.S., opening in Charlotte, NC, U.S.A. on June 21st, and finishing in Houston, TX, on Aug 18th (dates listed below), to be followed by further dates around the World in 2013. Enter Shikari's upcoming North American tour (and first headlining tour since November 2010) will start on April 1st in Atlanta, GA and run till May 12th, ending in Orlando, FL. The band will be joined by The Letlive and At The Skylines on all dates, with each band getting an extended set.
New York/New Jersey-based punk band Night Birds have announced a slew of upcoming East Coast tour dates this spring, including shows with legendary punk and hardcore bands Cocksparrer, Cro-Mags, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, and Pissed Jeans (tour dates below). The dates, which kick off this weekend in Long Island with World-Inferno Friendship Society, are only a hint of what is to come for the band; they have just announced 4 shows in Hawaii as part of this summer's "No Suck Fest", and a summer West Coast US and Canada tour is in the works.

Savannah, Georgia's Black Tusk have confirmed an appearance at this year's "Roadburn Festival" on Thursday April 12th in Tilburg, Holland. Coinciding with this special appearance, Black Tusk will be providing direct support to label mates Red Fang. Battle metallers Turisas will be heading back to North America this spring for Guitar World, Full Metal Jackie, and Metal Injection present: "PaganFest: America Part III", their first-ever US headlining run! Joining the Finnish sextet on their triumphant return to the States is a gathering of bands from across the world: Scotland's Alestorm, Russia's Arkona, and the US's very own Huntress (Rome's Ex Deo has now dropped-off the tour).
White Hills' latest album, 'Frying On This Rock', due out on March 20th through Thrill Jockey, is their most energized and concise recording to date. Recorded by Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Brian Eno, Swans, Herbie Hancock, Boredoms), the songs are bursting with a raw energy that has always been present but never showcased front and center like it is here. Not to worry though, the loads of killer guitar work and fuzzed out psychedelia are still there. Opening track "Pads of Light" is an under five minute scorcher but "I Write a Thousand Letters (Pulp on Bone)" is a 15 minute track that reminds us why space rock gatekeepers like Julian Cope were very early supporters. Welsh rabble-rousers Future Of The Left (FOTL) have announced they will be appearing at this year's SXSW (South By Southwest Festival) in Austin, TX. The lyrically acerbic though always musically addictive band marks their first time in the states in over three years at the fest. Following on the release of their 'Polymers Are Forever' EP last fall on UK based Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, Against Me), the band will be promoting their upcoming full-length 'The Plot Against Common Sense', which will drop on May 29th in the U.S.

Due to the overwhelming response to Lamb Of God's 'Resolution' CD in Norway, the band has been asked to appear June 26th at the "Hove Festival" in Norway. Their appearance at the festival will necessitate the rescheduling of the June 26th Zagreb, Croatia show at the Boogaloo and the June 27th Ljubljana, Slovenia show at Kino Siska. Both shows will be rescheduled to be part of Lamb Of God's planned European/UK tour for February/March 2013.

Science Fiction Theater will be doing a few tour dates with Rufio at the end of February as well as some solo dates. The kick off show is Feb. 18th at Anaheim, CA's very own Chain Reaction.
