Diamond Plate have announced that bassist and lead vocalist Jon Macak will be departing from the band's tour with Overkill and God Forbid to return home due to a recent family emergency. The band have decided to continue on with the remainder of their trek with tour manager and close friend Dan Valente filling in on bass and vocal duties.
The Gates of Slumber have added tour dates with Hail!Hornet following their US tour with Church of Misery. The full tour will begin on May 24th in Providence, RI and includes a June 1st performance at Chaos in Tejas. The Gates of Slumber and Hail!Hornet will play six shows from June 11th - June 16th throughout the Midwest. The complete routing is available below.
Cannibal Corpse - undisputed godfathers of Death Metal – return to Europe in June for their first European tour in support of their latest album 'Torture'. Portland Oregon's Red Fang are in the midst of wrapping up their European tour with a show tonight in Moscow, Russia and their final gig tomorrow in St. Petersburg, Russia. Before they had back state-side the band is pleased to announce that they have just confirmed a new batch of North American tour dates. Rise Records’ Like Moths To Flames are following up their stint as main support on the Texas in July Tour with a string of Canadian dates with Nice Nine Kills. The Columbus, OH rockers will also be part of this summer’s "Scream It Like You Mean It Tour" and will make an appearance at Bamboozle later this month. Everyone’s favorite space-age mutant skate punks head to Europe next week for their first tour there in six years. The band has also been confirmed for two dates at the upcoming Sled Island Festival in June (21st and 22nd), as well as being added to the stellar lineup at Hopscotch Festival in September (8th). Mastodon have announced that they hit the road in Europe, performing both major festivals, including Pinkpop, Sonisphere, and Nova Rock, as well as headlining shows beginning May 23rd and continuing through the end of June. Built to Spill have announced that they will extend their current summer tour into the fall with dates scheduled around the recording of a new studio album that will be released by Warner Bros. Records next year. In addition to previously announced dates in June, including the Governors Ball Music Festival at Randall's Island in New York, Built to Spill will also appear at the High Sierra Music Festival in July, followed by a series of headlining shows beginning at the end of August and continuing through September.
It seems like Candlelight Red are refusing to take a rest from their breakneck 2012 schedule - in addition to recently issuing their debut full-length disc, 'The Wreckage' (and single, "She's Got the Look"), the band has secured a spot on the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival - which they will start a month after wrapping up tours with Lacuna Coil and Crossfade. The group will be rocking on one of two "Festival Stages," which will also include POD, Deuce, Fozzy, Redlight King, Mindset Evolution, In This Moment, and Thousand Foot Krutch. And on the "Main Stage" will be Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, and Adelitas Way.

California's classic metal group Holy Grail, who recently announced a tour with Valient Thorr, have just confirmed a slew of new dates for the trek, which kicks off May 30.
