Amigo The Devil has announced the release of his debut full-length album, coming sometime in mid-2018. Amigo The Devil, real name Danny Kiranos, has been challenging the expectations of folk music, traditional country purists, and rock/metal fans alike with his dark, whiskey-fueled take on folk/bluegrass.
Recently, Amigo The Devil was added to the roster of The Oracle Management, owned by Coal Chamber and Devil Driver frontman Dez Fafara and Anahstasia Fafara. Dez became a fan and ally before taking Amigo's music to Regime Music Group's Kevin Zinger who became intrigued after hearing the music, so much so that he proclaimed, "Danny is the most talented person I’ve come across since first seeing Brad Nowell of Sublime!"
Amigo The Devil released his first track "Perfect Wife," before recording his debut EP Manimals. This created a cult-following of fans that grew through word-of-mouth, all the while doing it entirely on his own with no agent or management. He began to tour extensively, playing shows with a DIY punk mentality. His shows commonly consist of sing-alongs and humour that create an approachable atmosphere for otherwise grim topics.
Before entering the studio to record more music, Amigo The Devil will head out on the 'Dark Hearts Tour' with Andrew Sheppard, Mike Frazier and Wil Ridge throughout October and November.
