The UK sensation, Asking Alexandria, just completed a highly successful North American tour with All That Remains and will now spend the remainder of the year touring the UK on a series of sold-out headlining shows. However, Asking Alexandria fans are in luck as the much anticipated remix release, 'Stepped Up And Scratched (Stand Up and Scream Remix)', is now set for a January 2011 release. This record is a remixed, electro/dubstep version of their groundbreaking debut album 'Stand Up And Scream', and will include all new artwork and packaging.
This reissue is highlighted by the group linking up with the world renowned DJ/producer, Borgore, who remixed the band's cult hit, “The Final Episode.” Borgore, a musician from Tel Aviv, Israel, is best known for translating his love for melding genres into being a producer of what he calls "gorestep." He describes his music as commercial American hip-hop and death metal being played through various farm animals. Needless to say, this is going to be a collaboration for the ages. Borgore and Aaking Alexandria also discussing further creative projects together. Additionally, 'Stepped Up And Scratched' will feature remixes from J Rabbit, Noah D, KC Blitz and more.
Ben Bruce (guitars) checks in with the following report upon completing the most recent tour: "I can't really think of many words to sum up the All That Remains tour. The only words that really come to mind are fucking awesome. It was a great tour. We made some great friends during this five week trek across America and had some really amazing times. The crowds at every show were great. We had our loyal and dedicated fans come out to see us, and I feel like we won a lot of new fans on this tour as well. It was our last U.S. tour of 2010, and what a great way to leave the country. The last tour of the year is a headlining UK run. We are so excited to be going back home and playing across Britain. The tour is sold out, which is really amazing considering it's our first UK tour and we couldn't be happier. 2010 has been amazing, but this is only the beginning. 2011 is going to be unreal.”
