Culture Abuse and Wavves have gotten together for a collaboration and have unveiled a lyric video for a two-minute burst of garage pop, "Up and Down." The track combines bouncy guitar melodies along with punchy lyrics to create a very catchy tune.
Earlier this year, Culture Abuse signed to Epitaph Records earlier this year. The band formed in 2013, releasing their debut album Peach in late 2016. The album fully embodies the band's mission of "being free, enjoying life, and sharing love." Culture Abuse are currently in the recording studio, working on their sophomore album which they will have out in 2018.
Wavves' recently released their sixth studio album You're Welcome in May. Throughout the record, Wavves' singer Nathan Williams takes an exploration of his obsessions in life, with many styles of music showing up throughout the collections of songs. From doo-wop, to Cambodian pop, to South American psychedelia, nothing is off limits on this one. Wavves recently went out on tour with Epitaph artist Joyce Manor with Culture Abuse now also joining up on the tour.
