U.S. Female oriented festival Dame-Nation will be running a show in Chicago, IL at Reggies Rock Club on July 29th. They recently announced all nine performers this year. They are Deadmanswake, Angelical Tears, A Sound Of Thunder, Avariel, Shield Of Wings, Solarsphere, The Unvoiced, Losing Scarlet and Lindz Riot (Mary And The Black Lamb).

Deadcenter Entertainment's Eric Sanchez shares what the festival meant to him and fans: "To me Dame-Nation is not only a brand but a lifestyle for many female fronted bands across the World. While it's a play on words of damnation, I felt that by organizing an event exclusive to band with female singers, I'd be creating this quote unquote club for these singers to be a part of. The feedback from fans to musicians has been amazing. I enjoy and support all kinds of rock and metal, but realized that there is little to no support for the female front; Dame-Nation is that resource for support and exposure."

"This year I'll be showcasing bands from North America and hopefully next year feature bands from around the World. I'm working on getting a band from Sweden for next years event. The first two events held in Chicago featured Chicagoland talent, but this year I wanted to expand the show and bring in talented bands from all over the United States and Canada. I feel that this years event is guaranteed to be a solid show from start to finish."

Grace Meridan, vocalist of Shield Of Wings commented on the festival: "We are all so excited to play the upcoming Dame-Nation Show and share the stage again with Deadmanswake! Also, I have already been in touch with some of the other bands and anticipate a really kick ass show. The girls are all very supportive of one another and I think this will really allow us to show Europe that we can rock out just like they can. Horns Up!"

Lindz Riot of Mary And The Black Lamb also shared her thoughts on Dame-Nation: "Dame Nation was an event coming up that I could not bare to not be a part of, it will be worth the 9 hour drive. I'm really looking forward to breaking away from the band set up and doing a full on piano performance, though this was not by choice it will for sure be a new experience for me musically. I really hope its well delivered and received at my first United States show in this project. Of course I am looking forward to seeing all the acts, especially Shield of Wings, Angelical Tears, and The Unvoiced."
