Lovely Bad Things have announced that they will be releasing their new EP Homebodied on March 31st through Burger Records.
Lovely Bad Things got its start in the boring town of La Mirada, which is located in between Los Angeles and Orange County, a fitting place for a band to find solace in music video, Brothers Camron (guitar, vocals) and Brayden Ward (drums, vocals) met Lauren Curtius (guitar, vocals), Tim Hatch (guitar) and Wesley Baxter (bass) during their early years. The guys have joined forces to create a perfect blend of the most infectiously resonant aspects of their alternative and punk predecessors.
The band offer a wild and humorous stage presence while effortlessly shredding the musical prowess they've spent the past eight years cultivating. They have ventured out on several cross-country solo tours as well as with Best Coast and Diarrhea Planet. They've also performed at various festivals including FYF, SXSW and Primavera Sound. Lovely Bad Things' sound falls somewhere within the vicinity of Pavement, Dinosaur Jr. and Weezer. All of the album artwork and merchandise are made from scratch by drummer Brayden Ward and each member of the band contributes to the songwriting and multi-instrumentation.
