ROYAL BLOOD to Head to U.S. for Summer Tour Starting in June

British rock band Royal Blood have announced a summer headlining tour of the United States in support of their recently announced new album How Did We Get So Dark?. The tour will begin on June 2nd in Boston and won't finish until August 16th in Los Angeles. for all dates will be available for purchase starting at 9:00 AM local time on Friday, April 28th.

Royal Blood will also appear at various festivals this summer including The Governors Ball in New York City, Glastonbury, Eden Sessions, and Japan's Summer Sonic Festival.

The band's new album was written in instrumental form during sessions in Brighton, L.A. and Nashville, with lyrics coming from frontman Mike Kerr's life experiences. Kerr recorded the songs with drummer Ben Thatcher and producer Jolyon Thomas in a Brussels studio that was designed to look like a New York diner. The record was eventually finished after a final session in London with Tom Dalgety, co-producer of their debut album.
