SKY PARADE and Ripple Music Burn Rubber on Gran Turismo 5
Following hot on the heels of their Ripple Music debut split 7" single, Sky Parade keep the pedal to the metal with their Ripple single "I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)" being included on the hottest video game in the world: Gran Turismo 5.
Fresh off their successful European tour, Sky Parade are thrilled to have their song "I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)" included in the Gran Turismo 5 soundtrack. 5 years in the making, Gran Turismo lives up to its hype as one of the hottest driving games in the world, incorporating new graphics, AI, and modifiable racing tracks into it's already killer gaming format. Taken from Ripple Music's exclusive split 7" single, 'I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)' keeps the adrenaline pacing red hot for modern gamers, jamming to Sky Parade while they navigate the corners and bumps. Already a KEXP Top 20 hit by Sky Parade, "I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)" just keeps on growing as one of the buzz songs of the year.
And that's not all. Sky Parade leader, Tommy Dietrick, former bass player for the Brian Jonestown Massacre, says he's back in the studio, readying a Sky Parade retrospective, 'Sky Parade – the Singles 2005-2010', for a 2011 releases.
Check out the video below and hear the song that's squealing around the Gran Tourismo corners.
Available in extremely limited quantities, and exclusively through Ripple Music, the 7" split single also features Australian buzzband, Grand Atlantic and is pressed on orange vinyl. The single is available through www.ripple-music.com and can be found everywhere on Sky Parade's tour.
