What do you get when you mix the guitar speed of Dick Dale, the distortion of Link Wray, the attitude of Johnny Rotten and the back beat of Iron Maiden? You get Canadian surf Legends King Beez who are celebrating their 9th anniversary with some new material and a tour of their favourite places.
The boys are hitting the road again this spring through Ontario on the "Smash and Burn" tour with a new lineup, energy and a new 7". They are kicking off their Ontario tour on March 20 in Stouffville as part of the 16-day Guinness Record attempt at the Earl of Whitechurch followed by a March 31st sold out show with Rockabilly legend Robert Gordon in Toronto.
According to main man Matt Groopie, the band is "ready to rock and destroy today's complacent attitude for live music." With their electric, original, high energy show, this band always delivers.
The 7" is slated to be released mid-April and will be available on limited edition Yellow vinyl. It will feature two new songs with a third song being added to the CD release only.
