A Day To Remember are currently in the midst of a massive run in North America as direct support for the legendary Blink-182. We caught up with them on a Saturday, September 3rd as they hit an outdoor stage before more than 8,000 fans. Although they're serving as support on this tour, the band isn't pulling any punches with their production. Their set featured confetti and t-shirt cannons as well as a giant bubble that frontman Jeremy McKinnon got inside of to get up close and personal with the audience.
Despite having just released their new record the day before, A Day To Remember's set only featured one new song, "Paranoia." Otherwise fans were treated to a smattering of older and newer tracks include fan-favorites like "Downfall of Us All," "I'm Made of Wax Larry, What Are You Made Of?," "2nd Sucks," "All I Want," and oldie but goodie "The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle."
While I personally enjoy seeing them in smaller venues, their production team did a good job adapting them to such a huge venue--their set was incredible and definitely won a good chunk of the Blink-182 fans in the audience over. This is probably the coolest pop-punk tour hitting the states this year, so it's definitely worth hitting one of the remaining dates if you can make it.
