Underøath are back and better than ever! Touring a new record for the first time in a decade with the original lineup, the band has released their proudest, most cohesive album yet, Erase Me, where every member worked together collaboratively resulting in every single member being proud and excited about the end result. This came off so clearly in their stage presence at during the current “No Fix Tour.”

LIMBS kicked off the evening. They had an incredible energy and won over a tough crowd. Everyone was transfixed by the lead vocalist, who was running around the stage, all the while singing and screaming in perfect tune and time. I can definitely tell you they gained a fan in me that night, I will be attempting to see them again soon. It is definitely difficult to be the first band on a four band lineup, but LIMBS should be the standard.

Veil Of Maya had the crowd going absolutely wild. When they came on stage, you could immediately sense a change in energy. The lead singer and his intense voice grabbed everyone’s attention in the most metal way. Compared to LIMBS, Veil of Maya was heeeeavy. They brought in the breakdowns that everyone had been waiting for, they were without question the heaviest band on the lineup.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such excitement as I did when Dance Gavin Dance took the stage. Half of the barrier donned DGD shirts, and one guitar riff was all it took for the crowd to go even more wild than before. Tillian Pearson’s silky voice serenaded the audience, accompanied by unclean vocals by Jon Mess. The guys showed their status in their stage presence; you could tell they’ve been around for a while. Their set was technically perfect, and they sounded amazing.

Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for, Underøath took the stage. With a wall-to-wall LCD screen behind them, they pulled out all the stops when it came to this tour’s production. The lighting was especially cool when it was green, matching the Erase Me’s aesthetic. The graphics shown throughout the songs were in perfect time with the music, and fans were loving the whole idea. Spencer Chamberlain was performing with enthusiasm and passion as if it was still 2005, and They're Only Chasing Safety had just dropped. Doing his signature mic swing, he had fans transfixed. Aaron Gillespie lent his vocals as well, which sounded better than ever. Doing a mix of songs old and new, one thing was clear, Underøath was back, baby!
