We're mere days away from Psycho Las Vegas 2017 and can't contain our excitement! We've got a ton of coverage (both live and wrap-up) to come but thought we'd kick things off with a list of our TOP 10 must-see live acts at this year's event. For those not yet in the know, Psycho Las Vegas 2017 will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 18th-20th (and a pre-party on August 17th). It also marks an exclusive U.S. appearance by King Diamond performing the landmark Abigail release in its entirety. Ticket options are still available RIGHT HERE while payment options can be found through Affirm, with immediate delivery of tickets RIGHT HERE.

01. Cough
- The Virginian sludge giants get Saturdays festivities underway on the main stage. Expect tunes off their recently released Still They Prey but hopes are high for tracks off their 2010 monster Ritual Abuse.

02. Windhand
- Leading the main assault on Sunday, the doom legends and arguably best female vocalist will be burning sage and crushing ribcages with their heavy fuzzed-out riffs. Not bad for Sunday brunch!

03. Sleep
- It’s the band that made us follow the smoke to the riff-filled land, and with a new album on the horizon perhaps we will be treated with a sneak peek.

04. Conan
- With riffs as heavy as Mjolnir, the UK trio will be loud enough to be making its own waves as they play the festivals Pre Pool Party.

05. Vhol
- With tenure in the metal community, Mike Scheidt of Yob handles vocals in this sure crowd pleaser of old school heavy metal.

06. Earthless
- With appearances few and far between, the instrumental psych rock trio, and cult favourite, will be jamming on the main stage Saturday night.

07. Blood Ceremony
- Slowly but surely these flute tinged occult rockers have been moving themselves to the top of everyone’s lists. It will be a true mistake to miss these Torontonians take stage.

08. Mastodon
- Late to the bill but riding high with their critically acclaimed 2017 album Emperor of Sand, the metal giants will be closing out the festival on Sunday.

09. Abbath
- Coming in with the pedigree of Immortal, the comedic relief we desperately need in the black metal community will be bringing out the corpse paint full stop for us all to enjoy.

10. Zeal and Ardor
- The brain child of Maunel Gagneux, brings an experimental mix of Swiss black metal and old blues and is one of the festivals must see hidden gems.
