Tallahassee, Florida-based singer/songwriter Lazarus Wilde released his latest studio recording, the eight-track Breathe Now, on April 7th, 2017, via Cardigan Records. (Purchase a copy via the label or iTunes.) A wonderful collection of both mellow and moody music, we wanted to better know the artist and his influences. Thankfully, we've got this exclusive TOP 10 list of some of Wilde's favourite things to do in Tallahassee.

10. Yosties Chili Parlor
- This little gem is my absolute favorite place to eat. If you're a fan of homemade chilli and spices and you're a fan of hot dogs then this is your place! This little spot is located near railroad square. Be sure to try all of the chilli options you won't be disappointed.

09. Mission San Luis
- I love history and learning about different cultures. Mission San Luis was one of over 100 mission settlements established in Spanish Florida between the 1560s and 1690s. Home to about 1400 residents including an apalachee chief and a Spanish deputy governor. When you visit this exhibit you'll see an interpretation of the 17th century western capital of Spanish Florida. You'll be able to see Spanish colonial art and artefacts and re-enactments of how life was during that time. I really enjoy the experience and historical insight mission San Luis offers.

08. Proof Brewing Co.
- if you're a fan of beer and your local brewing companies. Check out Proof. Located in the heart of Railroad square art park. This place always has events going on. Great company, good people and fun times. One of my favorites to drink there is the Mango Wit and Eightfive-O. Everyone who I've introduced to Proof is always satisfied and impressed by there quality of Brewing.

07. Letchworth Love Mounds Archealogical state Park
- Tallahassee has many parks for hiking and scenic viewing. If you're a fan of doing just that I recommend checking out Letchworth. Here you'll see Florida's tallest Native American ceremonial mound which was built about 1100-1800 years ago. This park has great trails and beautiful scenery with it.

06. Old City Cemetery
- This may seem somewhat cryptic but I've always been a fan of cemeteries and walking in them. It's peaceful and carries a long history of past lives. There's something inspiring about that to me. This particular cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Tallahassee. Established in 1829, this cemetery is beautiful in its own way. I've written a lot of poetry here and have even written one of my songs that's on my latest record called "Grey Station". There's rumors of a witch being buried at this cemetery along with some other urban legends. When you visit Tallahassee be sure to pay your respects at The Old City Cemetery.

05. Lichgate On High Road
- Now, this hidden location isn't massive but it sure does make you feel like you've entered a different time. When you first walk through this wooden path you're greeted by this enormous majestic oak tree. Something you would see out of a fairy tale book. It's limbs look like octopus arms. The tree itself looks like something out of Harry Potter. Behind the oak tree is this fairytale-style cottage and a really cool garden surrounding it. This is one of my many places I like to retreat to when I write. You truly feel like you've escaped reality when you're at Lichgate. It's a site to see for yourself. If you can find it that is.

04. Tallahassee Antique Car Museum
- If you're a fan of antiques and cars then you'll absolutely love this place. They have a display of over 150 automobiles ranging from an 1894 Duryea and a 1860 horse drawn Funeral Hearse. I really enjoy this place a lot. It's always nice and like stepping into a time capsule and seeing a piece of history in front of you. This place not only has automobiles but other antiques as well. Be sure to stop by here when visiting Tallahassee.

03. Alfred B. Mackey Gardens
- This beautiful ornamental garden is the perfect place to go to if you want a nice retreat. The beautiful floral architecture and paths are inspiring and peaceful. It features a picturesque brick walkway, a secret garden, a reflection pool and a wall garden. This is a great spot to take someone on a romantic walk or to even just reset and indulge the beauty Mackey has to offer.

02. The Tallahassee Museum
- One of my first experiences of Tallahassee started out at The Tallahassee Museum where I was introduced to zip lining. They have a zip lining coarse that covers the whole area of the zoo/museum and more. The coarse lasted about a good 2 hours to complete. I then wandered through the wildlife exhibit. I highly suggest paying a visit here when visiting Tallahassee. You won't regret it.

01. First Friday at Railroad Square Art Park
- One of my favorite things to do is head over to Railroad square every first Friday of the month where local vendors, food trucks, artists, musicians come together. You can see many walks of life and hear music from the local musicians in town. If you want to experience the art/music culture of Tallahassee be sure to come by rail road square art park every first Friday of the month.
