Whether you're headed down to Austin, Texas' SXSW, just traveling through or even a local looking for new haunts, we've got the definitive must-see/do list for you! We teamed up local punk rockers Thieves to share what they feel to be ten of the most awesome things to see, do, visit, while in Austin. Head below to check it out and be sure to grab the band's latest album, No Motive (Revival Recordings) RIGHT HERE!

TOP 10 things to do (outside of music) in Austin, Texas:

10. The Austin 360 Bridge
- This is a really cool overlook spot on top of a cliff a hundred or so feet up. About 10 miles west of the city-center and a quick hike up the cliff, you can see the landmark Austin 360 bridge directly in front of you, the river below, and downtown way in the distance. The hike up only takes about 2-3 minutes and is fairly easy. Booze is preferred, but not legal. FREE.

09. Auditorium Shores/Stevie Ray Vaughn Statue
- One of the best views of the city you can get. Just south of the river downtown, a great (pup-friendly) park that is right on the Town Lake Trail. Be sure to go see the giant SRV Statue at the shore. FREE. Booze and curfew laws STRICTLY enforced. (Learned the hard way.)

08. Castle Hill
- Another overlook, Castle Hill is just blocks NW of downtown. A mix of cement and overgrown grass covered with some of the dopest street-graffiti you'll see in town. From the top, another classic view of the Austin skyline. Great for 420. Can see 'em comin' a mile away. FREE.

07. Mount Bonelle
- This time an overlook of the Colorado River winding through mansion-filled hills of West Austin. Just a few miles NW of downtown, the hike is just one gigantic stair case. Only takes about 5 minutes to get up. Tables for picnics 'n' shit. FREE. Curfew and alcohol laws strictly enforced.

06. Pinballz (The OG location, up north)
- A big arcade with dozens of cool new, and vintage pinball machines. Also all the other games you could want to play. Best part about this is that it's BYOB! Only one drink at a time, but bring a 40 and avoid making a bunch of trips back out to the car. FREE TO ENTER. Games are cheap.

05. The University of Texas
- Huge campus just north of downtown. Really cool to walk around the historic campus. Go see the UT Tower, DKR Stadium, The Bass Concert Hall. The Drag is a cool place to get some drinks/food, shop. There's an underground bowling alley that cuts out all the lights and has black light style glow-bowling.

04. The Barton Creek Greenbelt
- This is a long body of water that weaves all around Austin. There's tons of different swimming holes and miles of hiking trails. There's tons to discover including waterfalls, rope swings, amazing scenic overlooks, fireflies, and pretty much any other picturesque scene you could imagine. There's so many entrance points for the Greenbelt, you should just Google it before you go. Any tourist website will tell you to go to Barton Springs Pool. DON'T DO IT. Go here instead. Just make sure there is water first. Sometimes the greenbelt goes dry for months on end. Email thievestx@gmail.com and we'll let you know if there is water or not at the time of your visit. Seriously. FREE.

03. Jester King Brewery
- Jester King is a sour beer brewery slightly southwest of Austin. It's probably a 30 minute drive from downtown. The brewery has a bunch of picnic tables and outdoor games for the kids. Bring your dog, play some games, and grab some pizza from the pizzeria on the other side of the property. This is a perfect place to go when you have a few hours to kill outside when the weather is perfect. Also, their beer is amazing.

02. Maria's Taco Xpress
- You have to get tacos in Austin. Everyone will tell you a different place, and they are almost all amazing, but this is my favorite. Despite new construction projects destroying a lot of what makes this city unique, there are still a few spots where you can understand where the slogan "Keep Austin Weird" comes from. This is one of them. The tacos are amazing, the same people have worked there since the spot opened, frozen margaritas are just $5, and they even have something called "Hippy Church" on Sunday mornings. Just go, I can't explain it.

01. VIA 313
- Eat most of your meals from food trucks. It's just the way we do it here. I'd recommend VIA 313 for quite possibly the best pizza you've ever had.
