Portland, Oregon rockers For The Life Of Me have released their official lyric video for their lead single "Eleven" which is taken from their forthcoming EP Closure. For The Life Of Me was started by four friends in 2009, all from different musical backgrounds, after multiple previous efforts and projects faded or separated. When two of the original band members decided to pursue other interests, the remaining members decided to carry on and spent most of 2012 writing and recording Closure.
Cult punk rock heroes, Alkaline Trio return on April 2nd with My Shame Is True, their most dynamic album to date. In anticipation of the release, the band have debuted a brand new single "I Wanna Be A Warhol" from the forthcoming album. Recorded with Bill Stevenson of punk legends The Descendents and Black Flag, My Shame Is True pushes the band into new musical terrain while embracing their classic Trio sound. Clutch's sold-out and extremely successful European leg of the Earth Rocker world tour is coming to a close. The tour is in support of their latest album of the same name that is due out March 19th in North America. Clutch will kick off the first leg of the Earth Rocker North American tour March 8th in Cincinnati, Ohio and it runs through April 20th in Baltimore, MD. Support on the tour will come from Orange Goblin, and Lionize. They will also be making an appearance at this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) festival.
Gemini Syndrome encapsulates both ends of the spectrum. The band conjures ethereal alternative melodies and then tempers them with gnashing, guttural distortion. These five musicians - Aaron, Rich, Mike, AP, and Brian - all from diverse musical bands and worlds converged when the guys discovered that the spiritual musings of Aaron melded with Rich, AP and Mikes taste for dark and melodious rhythms. After some early demos and cutting their teeth on the road, the group retreated to Las Vegas to complete what would become their first offering with Kevin Churko. The band will be out on tour with Mushroomhead, Final Trigger and Society's Plague.
Heavy melodic rockers Breached is currently in studio working on their follow up release and planning to release an acoustic version of their debut for fans, which will be announced at a later date. The band's second record is planned for a Summer release.
Portland heavy music act Fallstar have released their first single "Shallow Believer" from forthcoming record Backdraft, due out April 16th featuring Memphis May Fire vocalist, Matty Mullins. Fallstar are an unrestrained group of artists and musicians who draw just as much inspiration from their local punk and hardcore scene as they do from their hometown in general. The band is definitely best enjoyed as a live act with shows that include many sing-alongs and crowd participation.
King Conquer have released a lyric video for their track "A Day Late... and A Dollar Short", which will appear on the band's upcoming new album 1776. The title of the record refers to the fresh start that the band feels this record gave them, just as the American colonies had in the year of independence. King Conquer will headlining the Eat Your Heart Out Tour, which begins on February 1st, with support from The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Adaliah, and Sworn In.

Spiritual Genocide is the latest album by iconic German thrash trio Destruction. The album was released this past November in Europe, now the thirteenth in the long and illustrious career of this pioneering thrash metal band. The album features eleven new songs and with the addition of the band's new drummer Vaaver a couple of years ago, it really opened up tons of new possibilities during the recording of this record. For Destruction fans in North America, Spiritual Genocide will be released on February 5th.
Tempe, Arizona-based rock/post-hardcore band Reactions today released their latest song "Rebirth." "Rebirth" is the first new music from Reactions since the quintet released its Archetypes EP on June 19th. The band will be embarking upon a month-long series of tour dates that they are dubbing the Rebirth Tour. The dates will take Reactions from Scottsdale, Arizona on February 1st around the South, Southeast and Midwest until the tour winds up back in New Mexico on February 28th.
"Nothing Left To Lose" is the latest track from UK rock quartet Heaven's Basement. The song is taken from the band's forthcoming debut album, Filthy Empire, which will be released on February 5th in North America. In other Heaven's Basement news, the band has just been confirmed to appear at this year's Rock On The Range festival in Columbus, Ohio May 17-19. They will also appear at this year's Download Festival in the UK June 14-16. They just wrapped a run as support for Buckcherry in Canada and will set out on a headlining tour in the UK around the release of Filthy Empire. They will then be main support in Europe for Black Veil Brides before heading back to the US in May.
Hundredth have premiered a lyric video for their song "Ruin", which is the lead track from their upcoming new EP Revolt. Revolt is the first half of Hundredth's double EP titled Revolt/Resist with the first part coming out on March 19th. The second half of the double EP, Resist, being released later in 2013. Hundredth will hit the road in February with Every Time I Die, The Acacia Strain, Vanna and No Bragging Rights for a month and a half long tour of North America.
In demand Brit rockers Muse have posted a lyric video for "Supremacy", the second single to be lifted from their critically acclaimed album The 2nd Law. The album has shifted 1.5 million copies and the band will embark on their biggest stadium tour so far with a series of dates this year including Ricoh Arena, Coventry, Etihad Stadium, Manchester and two nights at Emirates Stadium, London.
Reign Supreme have premiered a lyric video for "The Hopelessly Devoted," which will appear on their upcoming EP Sky Burial due out on March 19th. The 7-track EP, which was produced by Will Putney (Stray From The Path, Hundredth), features guest appearances by Scott Wade of Comeback Kid, Chris Colohan of Cursed/Burning Love, and Mike Moynihan/Steve Muscemi of Hollow Earth. In the wake of recent outbursts by members of the music community on the issue of homosexuality, The Sheds have decided to move ahead their plans and release "Ignorance Is Bliss," the first single from their upcoming album I'll Be Fine. The song is their stance as supporters of gay rights and a statement against the intolerance towards homosexuality in society. The Sheds are currently wrapping up 'The Strike'em Hard Tour' with Truth And Its Burden and will release I'll Be Fine in the spring.
Eye Sea I is a six piece post-hardcore band from Narva, Estonia which started back in 2010 with the goal to push the boundaries within their genre and to create something unique. In September 2011 the band headed into the studio and spent almost a year writing and selecting only the finest material for their debut album called Legend. The album is soon set for release and features a mixture of catchy song structures, fast melodic riffs smashed with epic ground shaking breakdowns and tender female vocals. Holy Grail have debuted a lyric video to go along with the title track to their upcoming album Ride the Void.
