The latest force in heavy metal to come out of Los Angeles is Fate Destroyed, led by charismatic and alluring frontwoman Franccesca De Struct. The band has just released a new video for the melodic "Break Free." The song appears on the band's self-titled EP. Fate Destroyed is leading a fierce charge on the metal status quo, with heavy influences from Deftones and Nine Inch Nails. The band's audio assauFAlt bridges the gap between the hard hitting industrial of the 1990s and modern heavy metal. The group is made up of current and former members of Green Jelly, Matriarchs, The Dreaming, KUZA, 7 Days Away and Dirty Machine.
Frontwoman Franccesca De Struct commented, "Break Free' is a story of the unending struggle between who we are and who we want to be. It's a song about those moments when you look in the mirror and don't recognize the person looking back at you. It's about duality, about feeling trapped inside a time and place and the desire to escape that."
