Wake Forest, North Carolina-based metal/hardcore band, The Grandfather, have unveiled a music video for their song "Kemper," taken from the EP I: Absent.
The band commented on the clip and album, "the video is the first part in a three part story and serves as a reflection of the EP. It is the visual interpretation of the meaning behind those songs. It's about a man who is haunted by his innermost darkness as he tries to escape it."
The song's title is taken from notorious serial killer Edmund Kemper, but it's "not intended to be biographical or graphic. The title is meant as a springboard that reflects someone in the throes of illness from within."
