The Skinny: One Day Waiting is an alt-metal quartet that hails from the Hudson Valley in New York that have been making music together since 2013. Their frantic and raw energy weaves a web of numerous hard-rock and heavy metal sounds into a catalog of songs that is equal parts hooky and heavy. Their latest EP The Key is chock full of tracks that will make you bang your head in solidarity with the band, including newest single/music video "Worse Than Death." Comprised of vocalist Tyler Kray, guitarist Nick Cozzolino, bassist Connor Koch, and drummer John Zambito, In the time since they formed, they've dedicated 100% of their being to cultivating a rabid fan base through constant gigging and putting out hard-hitting songs and music videos.
The Key was recorded in separate sessions from winter 2014 into late spring/early summer of 2015. The EP encompasses One Day Waiting's catchier sound and hard rock roots. "Worse Than Death" is the fastest song, along with being the most technical and heavy, while showcasing a wide range of each member's musical abilities. The music video was filmed and produced by Ignacio Orellana Alarcon at The Studio at The Webster Hall in NYC on December 11th, 2015.
