Philadelphia-based SPiN have pulled out one of the all-time greats with a reinterpretation of Marvin Gaye's 1971 classic "What's Going On." They have a new EP on the way this month which will be titled Meant To Rise. The band has been compared to iconic groups such as Queen, The Cars and Muse. The Grammy-nominated producer Luke Tozour, who has worked with pop stars such as Pink, Katy Perry and Mika has described the band's sound as “classic epic songwriting with a modern pop twist!” SPiN's latest EP Stalked included the single "Happy Together" which hit #1 on the iTunes indie rock charts and it also appeared in the CBS television show Stalker.
In addition to headline gigs, SPiN has provided support for Halestorm, Fuel, Hinder, Sponge, SafetySuit, Puddle of Mudd, Trapt, Red, Fat Joe, RA, Charm City Devils and more than 600 shows across 25 states. When not touring, the band continues to write, record, and independently release music from its Dead Handsome Studio, inside a 150-year old funeral home.
