New York-based shoegaze group The Foxfires have two insightful singles out right now. The double feature “Don’t Give Up/Choose Love” contains lyrical content that touches on suicide, equality, and acceptance.
“Don’t Give Up” is an anti-suicide song inspired by the deaths of Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington. “Choose Love” is more socially driven, with the band describing it as a call, "to move towards a more empathetic, equal, and balanced future where we see past race, gender, religion, sexuality, or political party and to fully embrace all of humanity."
