City In The Sea's much anticipated debut full-length album, Below The Noise, is now officially set for an August 20th release via Sumerian Records. The disc features guest vocals by Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria and Aaron Matts of Betraying The Martyrs. City In The Sea will be performing on the Sumerian Records stage at Mayhem Fest all Summer long.

SOiL has premiered the brand new video for "Shine On," the first single from their forthcoming sixth studio album, Whole. It is the first album with original frontman Ryan McCombs since 2004's RE.DE.FINE (after which he became Drowning Pool’s lead singer). It sees SOiL returning to the classic sound that fans have come to admire, calling it the album "that could have come directly after the Scars album in 2001." The band is currently lining up shows for the entire Summer, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Check out the new music video from Atlanta pop punks Look Alive. The clip is for the band’s first single “Inquisition” which appears on their forthcoming Autumn + Colour EP, Mistakes and Milestones. The members of Look Alive have all played in different bands over the last 10+ years and some are even in multiple bands today. Coming together in August of 2012, the band was fairly new when an old hat on the Atlanta music scene, Travis Groo, heard the recent incarnation. The Common Gold EP by Florida post-hardcore outfit Not Tonight Josephine is set to hit stores on July 9th. The Common Gold EP was recorded and produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore, Go Radio, Further Seems Forever) and is the first release featuring new vocalist Danny Garry and guitarist Scott Vallina. They join Not Tonight Josephine founding members Randy Ayers (drums) and Evan Foley (bass/guitar) in crafting quite a different Not Tonight Josephine sound – one tougher and edgier than ever before. As hopeful as it is angered, The Common Gold is sure to grab the band new listeners and will certainly make current fans take notice. They will find there are now more brawn, more heart and more brains on display from the band.
North Carolina trad-metal/doom rockers Dogbane have released a video for the song "Ride the Serpent," taken off the band's 2011 debut, Residual Alcatraz. The video was directed and produced by TJ Webb and stars actress Valaria Sweet. Residual Alcatraz was released in December of 2011 on Heaven and Hell Records. Dogbane may be a relatively new band, but its members have been around for a long time, honing their craft in tons of different bands. In total, the five members of Dogbane have a combined ninety-four years of experience and a collective discography which spans over twenty-eight recordings.
One From Many is a rock band from Portland that just released their debut album which was many years in the making. It was so long in the making that their fans were the ones who cleverly titled it The Alleged Album after hounding them for years on when it would be released. The band also shares a deep passion for philanthropy. So much that they built a whole 35-day, Summer tour around community inclusion. They'll be conducting workshops for kids ages 8-19 in cities throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho, with live performances following each one. No longer "alleged," their melodic, guitar-driven 13-track powerhouse record showcases their dynamic song writing, exploring a wide range of influences beyond their alt rock core; including elements of gospel, indie pop, and R&B.
Fans of American metal stalwarts Seven Witches can now check out the exclusive worldwide premiere of the video for "Claustrophobic," the new single taken from their forthcoming album, Rebirth. Rebirth is Seven Witches' ninth studio album and is due out on July 16th in North America. Rebirth is produced by Seven Witches founder, lead guitarist, and mainstay Jack Frost and features a gritty, hook-laden sound and is a return to basics for the band highlighting Jack Frost's signature ax work. The Black Dahlia Murder have unleashed their brand new music video, "Goat of Departure." The video, directed by Ben Mayer, was filmed in the band's hometown of Detroit, Michigan last month. In typical TBDM fashion, the video is over-the-top and even features the return of a classic TBDM character, and a real, live goat. The Black Dahlia Murder's new album Everblack debuted at #32 on the Billboard Top 200! The album also landed at #3 on the Billboard Current Hard Music Albums chart (behind Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age).

UK Progressive rock band KingBathmat have launched a video for new song "Sentinel" taken from the forthcoming album Overcoming The Monster coming July 22nd. The video features CGI animation from director Michele Botticelli and was two years in the making. KingBathmat are a powered up independent, psychedelic, progressive, and alternative rock band, hailing from Hastings in England. Initially started by singer/songwriter John Bassett, the band have now independently released five albums to date. KingBathmat do not align themselves with convention and their genre is very difficult to define as it combines elements of all types of rock.
Esoteric, experimental artisan’s Locrian have premiered their new video for "Eternal Return" off of their new full-length Return To Annihilation. A two-part concept album inspired by the band’s love for prog-rock progenitors Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, Return To Annihilation is easily the group’s most ambitious recordings to date. Locrian, located in Chicago and Baltimore, has released over 20 recordings on an eclectic array of labels in their relatively short but prolific career.
Additionally, the group has announced a short run of dates this June plus an appearance at Kentucky's Boomslang Festival in September.

Female fronted industrial pop/rock artists, Chamber Of Echoes, have released the first music video "World Of Silence" from their upcoming record of the same name. Chamber of Echoes is a Los Angeles based female fronted and produced industrial pop/rocktronica/visual music project, conceived by vocalist, musician, composer, producer, artist, and designer Klaryssa Korolenkov. The band is more that just a "band", but a multi-media project that combines live musical performance, visual projections, costume design, visual art, and design. Chamber of Echoes debut record will be out later this year.
Southern California's New Years Day have produced another great lyric video, this time for the for the song "Death Of The Party" from their new release Victim To Villain which came out earlier this June. The album is the long awaited follow up to their The Mechanical Heart EP which of course came after the band's hit 2007 debut My Dear. The band recently kicked off the Warped Tour in Seattle and will be on all 40 dates, concluding in Houston on August 4th.
