SinHeresY rose officially in May 2009 in Trieste when bassist Davide Sportiello and guitarist Lorenzo Pasutto, after the nth disappointing concert of the 80's cover band in which they played, decided it was time to end with commercial music without perspectives just to gain a little money, and to get themselves all in a serious metal project. The band released its debut EP The Spiders and the Butterfly last December which gained generally good approval. The band is now preparing its debut full-length release hopefully to be released in early 2013.

RNDM (pronounced "random") is a new musical group featuring Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament, singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and drummer Richard Stuverud. The band will release its debut album, Acts, on October 30th via Monkeywrench Records/RED in the U.S. and Canada. In support of Acts, RNDM will embark on an 18-date North American tour, which kicks off November 2nd in Brooklyn, New York and ends November 27th in Seattle, Washington.
As one door closes another opens... such is the case with Bento, the new musical creation from Silverchair drummer/co-founder Ben Gillies. The band’s debut album, Diamond Days, is scheduled for release on Friday, October 26 on Gillies' own Diamond Day Records label. Diamond Days presents twelve bristling and glistening rock & roll songs, with Gillies up front, singing his heart out, singing his own songs, and opening up like you've never heard him before.
Boston-based rock quartet Mean Creek are excited to announce the release of the music video for their new single, "Young & Wild" from their latest record Youth Companion. In addition to the release of the video, Mean Creek recently announced their November tour of the U.S. supporting Counting Crows. Marking the band's second stint with Counting Crows, the tour will begin on Tuesday, October 23 in Port Chester, NY, at The Capitol Theatre and will take in 14 evenings across the U.S. Youth Companion is due out October 16th.
Gypsyhawk will be on tour this Fall as direct-support for The Sword. The 37 date U.S. tour commences October 29th in Corpus Christi, Texas and runs through December 18th. The opening bands on tour included Eagle Claw up through November 24th and American Sharks from December 2nd through December 18th. They recently completed a video for their song Hedgeking from Revelry & Resilience. The video was directed by Simon Chan of Artificial Army and features the acting talents of the Australian born actor and body builder Guy Grundy.
Heavy metal's most infamous act, Cradle of Filth, has launched a lyric video for the new track, "For Your Vulgar Delectation." The song comes from the UK outfit's impending 10th studio album, The Manticore and Other Horrors, which is slated to release in North America on October 30th via Nuclear Blast. Cradle of Filth will spread its darkness upon European lands with a tour throughout November and December.
Chicago metal band Encrust release their debut album, From Birth To Soil today, September 25, 2012 on Density Records. The five-piece is currently on Fender’s Carnival of Death Tour with Obituary, Broken Hope, Decrepit Birth, and Jungle Rot. The band was recently added to the MetalSucks CMJ showcase to be held October 18 in Brooklyn at Public Assembly and includes Pig Destroyer, KEN Mode, and Early Graves along with Encrust.
Rising from the ashes of Blues prodigy band The Brown Brothers in 2004, Michael (vocals, guitar) and Leigh Brown (vocals, bass) teamed up with drummer Andre Wise to form Tracer. Over the next several years they released two independent albums, staged multiple international headline tours, and acted as support for acts that include Little Red, Children Collide, The John Steel Singers and Cassette Kids. The touring through 2009-2012 has delivered sizeable followings throughout Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This Fall, Tracer will make their debut in the U.S., with plans for select headline appearances, mixed with support opportunities throughout November and December.
The last few months have been busy for Message to Venus. The band has been actively finishing up work on their debut full-length album Victims & Villains and have shot a music video for their track "Change." The group has been quickly building a solid fan base, from the release of their first ever single in 2010 "Cold & Grey," to their 2011 EP The Envelope, to their debut record. Dutch symphonic metal masters Delain have released an official video for the title track of their third and most massive album to date, We Are The Others. We Are The Others is an album littered with concepts in every aspect, from lyrically bridging fantasy with reality and actual events in history, to the steampunk-influenced cover art created by noted pop surrealist Glenn Arthur. Delain enlisted a massive production team for the recording, including Jacob Hellner (Rammstein, Apocalyptica), Fredrik Thomander and Anders Wikstrom (Scorpions, Backyard Babies), bringing every element of the album to life.
Rittir, the twelfth studio album by Norwegian progressive extreme metal band Enslaved, will be released in Europe on September 28th and in North America on October 9th. Rittir is the follow-up to Axioma Ethica Odini, which debuted in North America at #16 on the Billboard Heatseekers (New Artists) chart. Enslaved will be performing in this year’s Barge To Hell cruise from Miami to the Caribbean beginning on December 3rd.
Graveyard’s 2011 release, Hisingen Blues, debuted at #48 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and entered the Swedish album chart at No. 1. The band has been quick to follow up that success with the pending release of their third studio album Lights Out due out on November 6th. The Swedish band’s first headlining U.S. tour earlier this year resulted in multiple sold-out shows across the country. A return to American shores in 2013 for a repeat performance is expected.
Monuments will be releasing their debut full-length album, Gnosis, on September 25th in North America. With its groovy, melodic ambience, Gnosis packs a progressive punch, which is further strengthened by the addition of Matt Rose's broad vocal spectrum to the band. Namesake have just released an acoustic version of their new single, "The Movement," the latest track from their debut album, Borders & Fences. The original version of the track serves as the follow-up to lead-off single, "Worlds Away." The band has made huge strides over the last couple of years and Borders & Fences has been extremely well received after working with well-respected producer James Paul Wisner (New Found Glory, Dashboard Confessional, Paramore).
Santa Rosa, CA's State Faults are heading out for a short tour in support of their debut full-length, Desolate Peaks. The album was released in the Spring on Tiny Engines. Written over the span of close to a year, Desolate Peaks, is the debut full-length from State Faults. The band delivers on the album title imagery with an intense emotional landscape rarely traveled. Drawing upon elements of 90's emo and post-hardcore, State Faults is explosive but not to the extent where it overpowers the nuances of the band's songwriting. The band is currently on tour through the southeastern United States.
