Chaostar, the project born from Christos Antoniou of Septicflesh's love of classical, challenging music, has announced the release of Anomima.

Rock Connecticut-based band, The Runaround have debuted their first single "Annie Can’t Wear Heels To Prom" off their forthcoming debut full-length, Without All The Weight (May 28, 2013). WATW was produced, mixed and mastered by Gary Cioffi Jr. (Transit, Misser, Sleep City) and engineered by John Dello Lacono at Maximum Sound Studios. The 12 track album was written by The Runaround, Michael Cookson Jr, Colton Blaine Mabry, Cameron Schaen and Andrew Watrous.

Taiwanese metal exhibitionists, ChthoniC, are pleased to unveil their seventh studio offering. Entitled Bú-Tik, the ten track opus was recorded at Sweden’s Sweetspot Studio by producer Rickard Bengtson, who also worked on 2011’s critically-lauded Takasago Army full-length and finds the band sharpening their signature brand of self-dubbed symphonic "orient metal." Extreme electro/industrial metallers Aborym have revealed the first track from the second CD of the upcoming Dirty double album. While the first CD will feature completely new material, the second CD will include two completely re-arranged and re-recorded tracks from previous albums, covers of tracks by Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd and Nine Inch Nails, as well as a previously unreleased track.
Canadian epic folk metallers Nordheim announce their second album Refill will be released by Maple Metal Records of Toronto, Canada on May 1st in North America, and May 13th worldwide. The artwork was created by Nicolas Francoeur of Vorace Art, as was their 2010 debut album Lost in the North. Refill was recorded at Badass Studio, Montreal, QC, Canada in the Winter of 2012/13 and produced by Jef Fortin (Neuraxis, Augury, Blackguard, Unexpect, Kälter).

A Pale Horse Named Death will release their sophomore album Lay My Soul to Waste May 21st in North America on Steamhammer/SPV. Once again the artwork was commissioned by Sam Shearon, who is also responsible for artwork on the band's first release And Hell Will Follow Me. "Deadly Sin" is an apt introduction to this cool new indie rock band called Shy Nature – hiding bleak lyrics behind a curtain of sunny vocal melodies and optimistic guitars, the song portrays a home oblivious to its disintegration. Urgent drums and fuzz bass drive towards a moment of relief, where the guest vocals of Anna Meldrum (Blood Relatives) float alongside those of lead vocalist William before spiraling to conclusion.
German death metallers September Murder are going to release their new album, He Who Invokes Decadence, on June 17 (Europe) and June 18 (worldwide). Once more, the CD has been produced by Jens Martinek at his Schmiedeberg 7 Studios in Rübeland, Germany and was mastered in early 2013 by Peter Neuber at Mega Wimp Sound, Berlin, who has previously done work with Nasum, Vomitory, Primordial and War From A Harlots Mouth. Likewise, Christian Herzer of GUULarts has taken the lead over the artwork again.
