Released on May 17th via Undead Collective Records, The Harmony & The Chaos is the debut full-length from UK-based punky hard rock five-piece, Brightlight City. The eleven-song recording happens to also include the single “Statues & Monuments,” a killer tune that we’re now officially offering for free download and stream. Much like the album as a whole, this song boasts highly personal lyrical content which, as singer Jamie Giarraputo previously noted, is “about struggling with depression and anxiety, it can be so overwhelming and consuming. The verses are an explanation of sorts, into what it feels like to be at your lowest point.”

The Harmony & The Chaos follows this budding band’s highly praised 2017 EP release, Our Future’s Not Dead, and takes elements of British indie rock, classic alt-rock, punk and more, and mashes them into their own catchy concoction that fans are quickly lapping up. While you can catch up with the guys on their socials or www.brightlightcityofficial.co.uk, we highly encourage you to check out all of their tunes via regular digital services the likes of Spotify and Apple Music

Published as recently as mid-April 2019, this is the video for the single “Through The Lens.”

Speaking of the the single which we’re now offering for free, the band said: “‘Statues & Monuments’ - this song has a special place in our hearts, every time we play this song live it creates a brilliant atmosphere in the room. The lyrics are so personal and heartfelt that I get emotional singing them every time. We feel it is the perfect mix of energy and passion, a great ‘jumping off point’ for people who like what they hear from us.”
