Nashville, TN-based musician Ethan Hunter has confirmed a June 8th release of his upcoming Well Here It Is EP, the debut under the moniker Harbor de Grace. The new album will be available via all major streaming platforms (preorder on Spotify) and today, we’re stoked to offer a glimpse into the new EP’s tunes with a premiere of the high energy lead single “Black Lungs & Broken Teeth”.
Harbor de Grace is actually rooted in hardcore, having come up in the New England scene thereof before moving to Nashville and refocusing on an alt-rock sound, one which also incorporates elements of ambient, melodic and groove. Citing influences ranging from The Chariot and Norma Jean to This Will Destroy You and Nirvana, local concertgoers will be stoked to learn the band are close to bringing their noteworthy sound to venues this summer.
Commenting on the new album and lead single, Ethan said: “This is our song ‘Black Lungs & Broken Teeth’, one of the first song we’ve written as Harbor de Grace. We think it’s a good first look at what this band is now and will be to come. It’s just a solid hard rock song with me talking about my struggles and how to get through them. It’s more therapy and worship for us really.”
