Four-piece Budapestian garage rock group Ivan & The Parazol have got a lot going on these days thanks to their upcoming new album, Exotic Post-Traumatic, which is slated for release in March (and may be pre-ordered here). Until then, however, the guys are aiming to get you grooving and, what better way than with the hopping new single, “Changin’”, which we’re premiering today!

Commenting on the track, the band collectively stated, “‘Changin’’ could be the title of the whole album, ‘cause the last two years have embodied this concept. The band, our music, and style of songwriting developed and evolved so much. This song was inspired by a new relationship, but of course, the desired love is hard to reach, especially when the different factors of life and personal experiences can make it harder to materialize. Our band and our bond is a relationship too that goes through evolutions and difficulties. So, you have to trust your instinct, and the change will make you better.”

We ain’t “Changin’” things up today, just servin’ up more bumpin’ beats!

For those new to this act, they carry the spirit of ‘70s glam rock while incorporating modern psych-rock instrumentation that’s sure to have you movin’ and groovin’. They’ve already had the good fortune of supporting classic rock icons Deep Purple on the Budapest stop of their arena tour. Can you believe that? They’ve also toured with the likes of Rival Sons.

Exotic Post-Traumatic was produced by the Grammy-winning producer Wil Anspach, who has worked with huge bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse, Justin Timberlake and Frank Ocean. “Changin’” is the second single from Ivan & The Parazol’s now third album, an energetic track right from the get-go that uses saturated, distorted guitars and grooving basslines that provide the perfect backdrop to lead singer Ivan Vitaris’ character and colour-filled vocals.

And don’t forget to check out the band’s latest music video for “NR. 1003!”
