Similar in sound and energy to Turbonegro, Gluecifer and Stockholm, Sweden’s ripping rockers The Hellacopters, fellow countrymen The Drippers are one band you need to immediately add to your #rockradar. Signed to The Sign Records and with their debut full-length recording, Action Rock, due on August 2nd via The Sign Records, we’re pleased to tease the new album with the single “Gimme the Shakes.” (Since you’re here and clearly have exceptional taste in music, might as well hit the group’s Bandcamp page for additional music.)

Action Rock follows The Drippers’ self-released, Tomas Skogsberg-mixed Motherfuckers Be Drippin EP (2018) and was recorded at Sunlight Studio and also saw help form Skogsberg, this time with him manning the production. The eleven-song end result is a raucous affair with a mixture of classic and modern Swedish rock sounds that’ll soon have droves of fans driving faster than posted speed limits. Roaring guitars, reved-up riffs, thundering drums and bass, whiskey-fuelled singalong choruses... this album rips!

The band consists of three dope musicians—bassist and vocalist Viktor Skatt, guitarist and vocalist William Dickborn, and drummer Niclas Kristoferson.

Less talk, more rock! Check out The Drippers’ new single “Gimme the Shakes” here:

The Drippers’ Viktor Skatt commented on the new single saying, “‘Gimme The Shakes’ is an explosive song that mixes the aggression of the underground with the soul shaking beat of the classic rock era. Thundering drums and guitars striking like lightning lead the way on this sing-along anthem of high energy action rock. Play it loud or not at all.”

The Drippers Tour Dates:

08/03 - Molotow, Hamburg, Germany - Weltturbojugendtage XV
11/22 - JT Soar, Nottingham, UK - with Hip Priest
11/23 - Black Heart, London, UK - with Hip Priest
