Charlie Steffens

Photographer, Writer (Los Angeles, CA, USA)
- The gateway drug that began my descent into a lifetime of rock was Alice Cooper in his Billion Dollar Babies days. The transformation was complete upon attending a Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush concert, from which I emerged with chronic tinnitus. Thus, my life’s pattern was set. Writing and photography on behalf of PureGrainAudio allows me to indulge my habit of live music and affords me the opportunity to interview rock gods like Joe Perry.
