Heavy music was one of our common interests and within a few months, PureGrainAudio was born. What began as a hobby has grown into way more than we could have ever expected. Trapt is an American rock band that formed in Los Gatos, California in 1997. The group is composed of lead singer Chris Taylor Brown, lead guitarist Robb Torres, bass guitarist Peter Charell, and drummer Aaron "Monty" Montgomery. They have released three studio albums to date. Their newest record Only Through the Pain was released on August 5, 2008.

Throwing Color's process is pretty uncomplicated: Dave mainly writes the music and Drew writes the lyrics and the rest of the band members work together with Drew and Dave to help shape the songs. When asked about the recording process, thinking it might be like that of the hot mess fiesta called MTV's Making the Band 4 in which band members literally come to blows over a song, Dave said that working in the studio was "tedious" but without conflict. "Recording is fun but brutal. We are all best friends so it's super fun."

Buckcherry is a Grammy-nominated hard rock band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1995. The band released two albums, Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001), before dissolving in the summer of 2002. In 2005, lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson formed a new band using the Buckcherry moniker and released a new album on April 16, 2006.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have just released the first video from their upcoming Lonely Road album. “You Better Pray” is directed by Tony Petrossian who has also worked with bands like Rise Against, Taking Back Sunday, and Slipknot among others. The clip also is the first to not include guitarist Elias Reidy who is no longer with the band.
