I love Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’sideas. They are big and they always make everyone stop and listen (whether you agree with them or not). I don’t necessarily agree with all of them, but I do think these are the discussions we need to be having right now!

My real beef with the state of reality TV shows today (especially Keeping up with the Kardashians) is it does not convey our current reality, but it is definitely trying to shape it into something ugly. It’s saying “Hey, we talk shit to each other in our family every day, but we look great doing it, and we resolve our issues in 30 minutes, so nothing here is really wrong.”

With loss of life and love and people just destroying each other, aren’t we all just sick of it? I say fuck political grandstanding, playing to the crowd, and taking sides and not saying what we really feel to each other. Let’s just try to come up with real solutions.

There is so much hate in this world and such a long history of hatred. For centuries, people have ignored what makes us as human beings so similar, and have focused on the few things that make us different. What do you take with you? What do you leave behind?

They just don’t make ‘em like they used to. Burt Reynolds was someone who would walk on screen and immediately command respect. He was a versatile actor with equal parts charm and intensity. He was the “Bandit” and he’ll be missed!

What the f#ck is up with rock bands today? Can half of these popular bands even call what they play “rock music”? Artist Damon Kardon goes on a diatribe, and illustrates one of his frustrations with music today, not to mention Award shows.
