Heavy metal troop Osmium Guillotine released their debut self-titled album on June 6, 2014. Featuring 11 songs loaded with meaty metal, Osmium Guillotine was recorded and produced by Danny B at HVR Studios, Ipswich and released via MGR Records. You can stream the album in it's entirety below, as well as learn about some of lead guitarist Lance Steele's tattoos.

When, where and what was your first tattoo?
Steele: My first tattoo was about a year and a half ago and it was on the top half of my right arm. It is of 'Eddie' the Iron Maiden mascot as a Knights Templar. I chose this as my first tattoo as I have been a massive fan of the band for many years and I also have a passion for history. It combines the two really well. I didn't play it safe for my first tattoo as it takes up most of the top of my arm and I'm glad I didn't as it still is one of my favourite tattoos. That first tattoo inspired me to become a professional tattooist which I am pursuing currently as a tattoo apprentice at a studio.

Do you have any new tattoos planned or underway?
Steele: I'm planning on getting a full sleeve on my right arm incorporating my existing tattoo. It will be based on vikings with a raven at the top, a shield wall, a couple of viking figures including Odin, a longboat and maybe a few skulls chucked in for good measure. Another tattoo I will be getting soon is of a great white shark on the side of my right calf, both pieces I want in black and grey.

Have you seen any fans with a band tattoo, anything crazy memorable?
Steele: I haven't seen any real memorable band tattoos on anyone. Generally they tend to be a band logo, like Nivana's smiley face or Avenged Sevenfod's skull with wings. I'm sure if I saw one of our fans with an Osmium Guillotine tattoo I wouldn't forget it in a hurry. It would probably bring a small tear of joy to my eye and then I would see if they were at all mental.

Have any tattoos that were painful. like made you cry, see white light, and regret being born?
Steele: Luckily I haven't had a tattoo that made me want to cry or regret being born. Although after quite a number of hours of constant shading it does get pretty sore and you do want to get it over with sooner rather than later. I'm sure I will have other tattoos that make me feel that way. It depends mostly on the area of the body you are having tattooed. If i went for a stomach tattoo or something across my chest I'm sure I would be in quite a bit of pain then I probably would regret it.

If you had to get someone's face tattooed on you, whose would it be and why?
Steele: I think if I was going to get anyone's face on me permanently I think i would go for either 'Katheryn Winnick' from the TV series Vikings. As she is rather stunning, strong and especially beautiful when she has a shield, sword and blood on her face. That would make a cool tattoo, or Michael Caine as he is a British legend and has been one of my favourite actors for many years.
