Lamb of God is pleased to announce that they have entered in to a worldwide distribution deal with Specticast (Led Zeppelin Celebration Day, Paul McCartney Rock Show) for their Don Argott (Last Days Here, Art of the Steal, School of Rock) directed feature film 'As The Palaces Burn'. Filming for the feature began in 2012 and concluded in March of 2013.

Velvet Grunge pioneers Ghosts of Eden are set to release the music video for their hit single "In Motion" off of their sophomore effort, 'Something (kinetic)'. The follow-up to their debut EP 'Ignorance and Lies', the six-track EP is "unable to suppress its taste for melody. Ghosts of Eden blends elements of hard-core punk with commercially minded heavy rock. The band hits hard as its songs build to anthemic crescendos." explains The Wall Street Journal.
'Unblackened', a new live DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital Video from Black Label Society will be released on September 24, 2013 by Eagle Rock Entertainment. Additionally, Zakk's label home, eOne Music will release the audio version of the 'Unblackened' DVD under the same name. The double disc release will have six additional tracks not found on the DVD including two acoustic versions of "Queen Of Sorrow" and "Won't Find It Here," and covers of Leon Russel’s "Song For You" and "Aint No Sunshine" by Bill Withers.
Slipknot's M. Shawn Crahan, aka Clown, is set to direct a new movie based on 'Officer Downe', the graphic novel created by Joe Casey (Man of Action) and artist, Chris Burnham. Casey has penned the script. 'Officer Downe' details the story of a brutal supercop who continually dies in the line of duty, only to be resurrected by his superiors and sent back onto the streets each and every time. Skip Williamson (producer, Underworld, Crank) and Mark Neveldine (director, Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) will produce the feature along with Casey, Man of Action. Slipknot manager Cory Brennan exec produces.
Germany's most relevant Horror filmmakers have decided to collaborate on a film appropriately titled "German Angst". They are Jörg Buttgereit (director of Nekromantik and Schramm) Michal Kosakowski (director of the controversial Zero Killed) and Andreas Marschall who besides directing films like "Tears Of Kali" and "Masks", is known for his iconic cover artworks for Metal bands like Kreator, Blind Guardian, Sodom, and Obituary among others.

Canadian progressive metal pioneers Voivod have almost completed work on a video for the title track of their Century Media debut album, 'Target Earth'. The video, created by Italian filmmaker and multimedia artist, Nicola Piovesan, will recreate in 3D Motion Graphics the visions and artwork of Voivod drummer, Away (Michel Langevin). Las Vegas indie rockers Caravels have announced dates for a Summer tour that kicks off with a hometown show on May 8. The tour runs through June 3rd and includes dates with Octaves, Frameworks, Old Gray and I Will Kill Giants. The band will make an appearance at Bledfest in Howell, MI on May 25 joining such acts as Anti-Flag, Andrew W.K., Pianos Become The Teeth and many more.

The Browning are due to shoot a brand new music video in March, and are giving fans the chance to appear in it alongside the band. The band will be filming a video for the track "Ashamed" on March 21st at Aftershock in Merriam, Kansas, with Thunder Down Country productions. As well as filming the video, The Browning will also be playing a short live set for the fans, with support from Conflicts.
Rammstein’s 'VIDEOS 1995-2012' DVD collection has a new release date of March 12, 2013. Originally due in stores on January 15, it was decided to delay the release following a manufacturing plant error, as the band wanted to ensure their fans receive the highest quality packaging possible. Fans who purchased the collection through Amazon’s pre-order will receive their DVDs in conjunction with the new release date.
