Puerto Rico-via-Miami rockers Message To Venus are preparing to produce a music video for their song, "To Smile" and are calling on their fan community to participate. "What we're looking for is photos of our fans holding up written messages describing things that can be conquered with a positive attitude, and of course, a smile," explains M2V guitarist John Feliciano. The Native American Film Institute will be holding the 37th annual American Indian Film Festival this November 2 – 10 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA. The event will include a screening of Bay Area thrash metal legends Testament's "Native Blood" music video. Attendees can catch the showing on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Danish modern metal machine Mnemic is teaming up with renowned Swedish director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Europe) to shoot the band’s video in Gothenburg, Sweden for "I've Been You," a track off their new album 'Mnemesis'.

Royal Thunder, the Atlanta-based quartet who release their debut album 'CVI' on May 22 (Relapse Records), recently recorded an in-studio performance of "Sleeping Witch" for indieATL, which can be viewed below. "Filming with indieATL was a very pleasant, professional experience," said Mlny Parsonz, vocalist and guitar player for Royal Thunder. "We are grateful to have been considered for this amazing experience. The end result is stellar footage." Three additional songs were filmed during the session, which will be made available soon.
'Harakiri', the new studio album from singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet and political activist Serj Tankian is set to be released July 10th on Reprise Records/Serjical Strike. Today, Serj released a teaser video set to the music of his first single, "Figure It Out." The video follows two thugs that kidnap, torture and water board an innocent mailbox. A proper music video for "Figure It Out" will follow in the near future.
Before the Swedish metal powerhouse went to Asia and Australia to present their latest album 'Khaos Legions' on their ongoing world tour, they found time to finish the third video for the album, "Under Black Flags We March". The video was once again produced by the Swedish director Patric Ullaeus (In Flames, Dimmu Borgir), and is the first video to feature the new guitarist Nick Cordle (from the US band Arsis) who replaced Chris Amott earlier this year.
