Alexisonfire are gearing up for one of the most anticipated tours of the year. The tour kicks-off in Victoria on November 26 and wraps up in Toronto on December 16. This is the band’s first major headlining tour across Canada since the release of their fourth album, 'Old Crows/Young Cardinals'. Debuting at #2 on the Top 200 Soundscan Chart, 'Old Crows/Young Cardinals' marks the fourth Gold Record certification nod for the quintet in Canada.

As a special opportunity for fans, pre-sale tickets will be available from September 8-10 at THIS LOCATION. Fans purchasing their tickets in the pre-sale will also have the option of upgrading to a VIP package which includes their ticket, meet and greet with the band, early entry to the show, limited edition signed poster, and a laminate. Tickets go on sale to the general public September 11, 2010 @ 10:00AM (September 17 in Calgary).

Joining Alexisonfire on tour are Norma Jean, La Dispute, and Four Year Strong.

Before Canadian fans get the band to themselves, Alexisonfire head to Australia, Germany, and the UK with a pit stop in Japan for a performance at the Loud Park festival in Tokyo.
The band will also be releasing an iTunes Originals session on September 28. The session encompasses interview clips of the band members reflecting on their career and revealing the inspirations behind their songs, along with album tracks and new live versions of some of their most popular songs. For the insatiable fans, some new music will be coming soon when Alexisonfire release a four-song EP titled 'Dog’s Blood' later this year.
