Los Angeles-based experimental post-hardcore triumvirate Philm, featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (Slayer), guitarist and vocalist Gerry Nestler (Civil Defiance), and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (War) will be making a return appearance at the Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, CA on Tuesday, May 4. Also on the bill are Vannacutt and Deathriders, featuring original Anthrax vocalist Neil Turbin.

Philm recently completed recording their 3-song demo at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, CA with noted U.K. producer Piers Baron, who earlier worked with Lombardo and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister on their cover of the Ben E. King classic "Stand By Me" for Flip Skateboards' 2009 "Extremely Sorry" movie soundtrack. Philm are also scheduled to release a seven-inch single through the 2010 Volcom Entertainment's Vinyl Club.

Photos of the band's April 19 Troubadour show with Fireball Ministry are posted at this location.
