Punk rock fans are in for a treat this week as the "Fireball - Fuelling The Fire" tour hits the UK for a run of eight shows kicking off in Manchester on the 11th October. Featuring headliners Reel Big Fish along with a cast that includes Anti-Flag, Mad Caddies and Sweet Little Machine plus a local support we've picked five reasons why you need to go and see this tour.
1. Reel Big Fish guarantee you a fun night!
The Huntingdon Beach ska-punk sextet are guaranteed to brighten up any bill and, on a damp night in October, we can't think of a better band to headline the bill.
2. The world needs Anti-Flag right now
From North Korean nuclear tests to Donald Trump to natural disasters, the world is one big clusterfuck right now so who better to provide you with the soundtrack to get through it all than Pittsburgh punks Anti-Flag?
3. You will lose your shit to Mad Caddies
Californian ska-punks Mad Caddies have over two decades of material to choose from and will have you bouncing from the minute they hit the stage. If you're not smiling and drenched in sweat by the time the band leap onto the stage, we guarantee you will be by the time they're dragged off it!
4. Sweet Little Machine are Fireball's Hottest Band of 2017
With a bit of a Green Day twang to their sound, UK band Sweet Little Machine will show you exactly why Fireball are touting them as the Hottest Band of 2017 when they kickstart the show with their brand of energetic, brash punk rock. Get there early for this one!
5. Fireball themselves have promised "One Big Party!"
If you've been to one of the previous Fireball shows you'll know they're a blast so we expect nothing less this year and with ticket prices being kept low for a bunch of great bands, we're in no doubt that this tour will live up to expectations.
