Five Knives have just released a lyric video for the song "Messin' With My Mind", which is featured on the new EP The Rising. The band are about to embark on The MTV Artist To Watch Tour with Twenty One Pilots and New Politics. The tour kicks off March 17th in Birmingham, Alabama. The band will be making a couple appearances at SXSW this year, performing at the Red Bull Records Party at Empire Automotive on March 14th with fellow Red Bull Records alumnus Heaven's Basement and Blitz Kids. Also catch them on the Van's Warped Tour this Summer.
With a brand new record only weeks away, Conditions have released a brand lyric video today highlighting the track "Love Elusive." The band had their fans send in snapshots of themselves portraying the lyrics to the song so they could be compiled into the lyric video. The band is out on the road right now with Let Live and will be joining Sleeping With Sirens on the Take It or Leave It Tour starting in mid-March. Conditions will be releasing their newest full length Full Of War on March 26th.

U.K. rock quartet, Amplifier, has released a lyric video for "Matmos," the opening track from the band's Kscope debut, Echo Street, out April 23. Echo Street, the follow-up to The Octopus, Amplifier's self-released debut which went on to sell over 20,000 copies, was produced by the band's Sel Balamir and mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro). Echo Street also marks the band's first effort with its revamped four-piece line-up, delivering a subtle shift in style and allowing for a mix of the band's signature epic space rock jams with accessible pieces boasting three-part vocal harmonies.
Italian tech-death metallers The Modern Age Slavery have released a lyric video for "The Silent Death of Cain" off their forthcoming album Requiem For Us All. The song features Fleshgod Apocalypse vocalist Tommaso Riccardi. The much-anticipated follow up to 2008's Damned to Blindness, Requiem For Us All sees The Modern Age Slavery return as one death metal's most focused and intense acts. The album is set for a March 19th release date.
Tampa metallers Dark Sermon have dropped their first single called "Imperfect Contrition." The single is the first off their all new LP, In Tongues, due out later this month. The fast, riff-oriented track will instantly cause spontaneous headbanging in metalheads around the globe, particularly with its hooky breakdown. The band will be touring for the next several weeks leading up to the release of In Tongues with an appearance on this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Fest.
Finnish masters of melacholic dark metal, Amorphis, have released the first single off the band's upcoming album, Circle. Circle is set to be released on April 19, 2013 (Europe) and April 30 (North America) via Nuclear Blast records. The follow-up to 2011’s highly successful masterpiece The Beginning Of Times (Finnish charts: #1, German charts: #16) was produced and mixed by no less than Hypocrisy and Pain mastermind Peter Tägtgren.
Farewell Fighter premiered last night a lyric video for a new song called "Grow," the band's first new song in over two years. "Grow" was released as a preview of things soon to come for Farewell Fighter. The band has been toiling away, recording a new album for the last year-plus. "Grow" is the first released result of those recording sessions; produced by Motion City Soundtrack's Joshua Cain, the track is one of the band's most impressive numbers to date. Farewell Fighter will release more new music in the near future, but the group is not yet ready to announce any big plans.
A new lyric video for the track "No Lungs To Breathe," which was made by the band's guitarist Nick Hipa, is now live in conjunction with As I Lay Dying's North American tour with The Devil Wears Prada that kicked off this last Friday in Ventura, California. As I Lay Dying preceded the release of their 6th full-length studio album, Awakened with a highly successful run on 2012's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival where the band rotated between the side and main stages. Awakened has been called the band's best work to date.

Dutch death-dealers The Monolith Deathcult have premiered a lyric video for a new song off of their Season of Mist forthcoming album, Tetragrammaton. A mighty assault of punishing riffs, vicious drum slaughter, and ridiculously brutal vocals, the album bears down on the listener like a tank from start to finish. TMDC prove their metal has more depth however with narration and ornamentation (synths, effects) straight out of vintage Hollywood action films.
Florida Symphonic Metallers Kamelot have released a lyric video for the song "Falling Like the Fahrenheit." The song comes from Silverthorn their breathtaking 2012 masterpiece. The band is beginning to line up headlining North America tour dates for later this year. Four shows are confirmed as of now and more are expected to be announced shortly. The album confidently and proudly features the band's new singer, Tommy Karevik from Sweden who has proven that he suits Kamelot perfectly in every respect.

Austin’s acid rockers Scorpion Child will be bringing their live swagger to stages across the U.S. and Canada this Spring supporting tour headliners Clutch. Openers include the U.K.'s Orange Goblin and Lionize from Washington D.C. The 34-date trek will launch on March 9th in Cincinnati and end in Baltimore on April 20th, 2013. Scorpion Child's full-length debut will be released this Spring.
Germany's most crushing extreme metal act Neaera will release their new album Ours Is The Storm on March, 5th. There will be a limited EMP-exclusive-edition (Europe only) featuring the limited edition Digipak and an additional song, making it three bonus tracks in total. Neara will be playing with Bury Tomorrow and The Defiled for some shows in Germany starting on the last day of February, going into the first week of March.
