On and on are incredibly excited about the release of their debut album Give In tomorrow, January 29th! On and On are currently closing out tour dates with San Francisco's Geographer. The Minneapolis/Chicago trio will play two headlines shows in New York on February 6th and 7th before heading to the UK and Europe where their album is being released on March 4th. The band return to the States for shows at SXSW 2013, The Governors Ball Music Festival in June, and further Spring/Summer tour dates to be announced soon.
Local H has premiered the video for "Another February" from the Chicago duo’s seventh studio album, Hallelujah! I’m A Bum. "Another February" has also spawned its own five song EP via Slimstyle Records to be released digitally on February 5th. In addition to the title track, other selections include a cover of Rush’s prog-rock opus "2112: Overture/The Temples Of Syrinx" indie rock outfit The National’s "Terrible Love," as well as several contrasting versions of songs from Hallelujah! I’m A Bum.
Spiritual Genocide is the latest album by iconic German thrash trio Destruction. The album was released this past November in Europe, now the thirteenth in the long and illustrious career of this pioneering thrash metal band. The album features eleven new songs and with the addition of the band's new drummer Vaaver a couple of years ago, it really opened up tons of new possibilities during the recording of this record. For Destruction fans in North America, Spiritual Genocide will be released on February 5th.
Vancouver progressive rockers Fen have posted a video for their title track from their fifth and latest album Of Losing Interest released last Summer. Their heaviest and most technical offering to date, Of Losing Interest is an album that revisits the band’s harder edged metallic past while retaining the melodic sensibilities that made Trails Out of Gloom so alluring. Co-produced by Mike Southworth, his fourth with the band, Of Losing Interest is a contrast of technical virtuosity layered against warm low end organics.
Los Angeles based rockers, Stars in Stereo have just released the accompanying video to their first single "The Broken." The band will be releasing their debut self-titled album on April 9th, but will be available from the band on tour starting February 12th. The band have also announced that they will be teaming up with Drowning Pool and Flyleaf for a Spring tour which kicks off on February 19th in Atlanta.

Switzerland-based chaotic post-metal act Cortez have released a music video for "Arrogants Que Nous Sommes", a song which appears on their second full-length Phoebus. Cortez formed in 2001 and released their first album Initial in 2005. After the release followed several tours in Europe, during which the group forged a reputation of exceptional performers, sharing the stage with The Dillinger Escape Plan, Isis, Unsane, Jesu, Gojira, Burst and The Ocean.
Tainted Nation, the new modern rock/metal outfit, are pleased to announce the release of the first video clip "Loser" to promote their brand new album F.E.A.R. The band is somewhat of an "all-star" line up consisting of Pete Newdeck (Eden’s Curse) on vocals, Mark Cross (ex Firewind, Helloween) on drums as well as Pontus Egberg (The Poodles) and Ian Nash (Lionsheart). They just released their debut album this week.
The official video for "The Right Track" has just been unveiled by Portuguese thrash metallers Switchtense. The song is one of the four unreleased songs that will be featured on the upcoming live release Switchtense – 10 Unbreakable Years, which celebrates their tenth anniversary and will be available February 15th on DVD/CD. The DVD includes live footage from their entire performance at Moita Metal Fest from earlier this year and the extra CD features three new songs and one re-recorded track from their 2006 EP Brainwash Show.
Violence From Within is a french metal band (from Lyon) formed in 2007, integrating many music styles as deathcore, post-metal with some ambients and atmospherics parts. The band released its first album Reminiscence in 2009 and has played across France with famous acts such as Walls Of Jericho, Protest The Hero, Texas In July, The Human Abstract and Darkane. Violence From Within's new record Idiocracy will be out on February 25th and it includes the single "The Umbilical Regeneration."

The band kicks off their very first U.S. tour supporting Lacuna Coil and Sevendust with an intimate performance at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City on Wednesday January 30th. The band released their newest record, Black Waltz earlier this year to much critical acclaim.

Occult, black metal band, Lightning Swords Of Death, recently completed a bleak, new video for the title track from Baphometic Chaosium. Brighton's Architects (UK) is pleased to announce they will be returning to the US for a full Summer of touring. Kicking off on March 6th in Boston, Massachusetts, Architects (UK) will embark on a 17-date run as direct support for Enter Shikari, with opening support from Heartist and Crossfaith. Following the run with Enter Shikari, Architects (UK) will return to the states in June where they are confirmed to play the Vans Warped Tour 2013. Architects (UK)'s latest album Daybreaker was released this past June.
