Cincinnati, OH-based rockers, Lift The Medium are about to rile up their fans thanks to the release of their brand-new video for the single “Don’t Need To Fall.” An inspiring clip, the new video is so true to its creative narrative that it’s inspiration was derived from actual relationship turmoil within the band itself and, according to the group, “was inspired by way of coping through storytelling and finding peace between the sweet and sour.”
LTM strive to deliver positive, uplifting music that stands the test of time and, with their rocking single, do just that. “Don’t Need To Fall,” which you can find on major DSPs including iTunes, follows the group’s debut album Mastermind (June, 2014), and sophomore album, Moment In Time (August, 2017).
Lift the Medium includes musicians Joey Vasselet (lead singer, guitar), Joe Bartone (lead guitar/singer), Jake Bartone (drums, piano, vox), and LJ Lillie (bass, vox). Moment In Time, their latest release, was recorded at Sonic Lounge Studios and continues to be a substantial basis for their local gigging until new music surfaces.
If you’ve yet to have your fill, stream the entirety of Moment in Time, which the band self-released on August 19th, 2017.
Speaking of the new song, bassist LJ Lillie was kind enough to drop the following comment: “‘Don’t Need To Fall’ was our singer Joey’s idea. He brought it to the band and we developed it in practices and shows for several months before recording it. Producer Joe Viers recorded and engineered it at Sonic Lounge Studios in Grove City, Ohio. The video is one about contrast. This song speaks to the ongoing quest for alignment, not only with the relationships we have in life, but ourselves as well.”
