James have released their new track, "Coming Home (Pt2)". The track, concerning the pain of being a working parent away from their child, is a second part to their classic hit, "Come Home", and features sonic interference from long time James collaborator and musical innovator Brian Eno.
"I wrote [1989 single] Come Home feeling shit about leaving my older kid and splitting up with his Mum,” James frontman Tim Booth explains. “This is a part two, a sequel to that. My family is together but I’m away traveling a lot, doing what I love. Personally, I wanted to commission an animation to this song but had my arm twisted to be in front of camera for the first time in 20 years for James.”
"Coming Home (Pt 2)" is taken from the forthcoming album, Living In Extraordinary Times which is set for release on 3 August.
