Sudbury, Ontario rock quartet, Fortunate Losers are, as they put it, “Grunge Rock for the new era”. Well, with their stupendous Soundgarden-artfully-mashed-with-Our Lady Peace-layered-with-Ian Thornley-and-peppered-with-a-dash-of-Deftones vibe, we can’t help but wholeheartedly agree with their description. Need evidence? Dudes, look no further than the group’s 2018 full-length, Cut Teeth (up for purchase here), which offers ten terrific tracks of hard rockin’ modern grunge nostalgia.

So why all the hype? Well, today, we’re stoked to help these Canucks debut their brand new music video for the single “Pocket Candy”. Shot in Toronto, Canada and directed by The Trenches Media, the “Pocket Candy” video was in fact the first the group ever shot, even though the “Silhouettes Divide (Alice)” video dropped first (check that one below). So, check the clip, share it far and wide, and get to know one of Canada’s premiere modern rock acts.

Commenting on the video, guitarist Brad Giffen noted: “We are really proud of the way the video turned out, it was a great experience for us exploring storylines in videos. We were very lucky to have Alex (The Trenches) directing this video, and allowing us to take his story idea and make it our own.”

Because more music is better than less, check out the band’s video for “Silhouettes Divide (Alice)”.
