Austin, Texas-based group The Octopus Project is streaming a new psychedelic video, which acts as a visual tour of their new album Memory Mirror, released April 7th via Robot High School. The video uses psychedelic images and visuals for each of the album's thirteen songs.
The video comes as the band continue their headlining North American tour, which ends April 22nd in the band's home state. The band will then perform a special one-off show in May at Austin's Texas Spirit Theatre at The Bullock Texas State History Museum on May 12. The band will use the venue's facilities to give a unique performance of their new album, including using nine-channel surround sound, immersive multi-screen visuals, rumble seats and indoor weather effects.
Memory Mirror was mixed by Danny Reisch (Shearwater, White Denim), Dave Fridmann and The Octopus Project and was mastered at Sterling Sound by Greg Calbi (Talking Heads, David Bowie). It was recorded at Filmon Baby, Good Danny's and Tarbox Road Studios.
